Raven
Raven's JournalI'm betting that Barr is resigning. Trump always fires people via Twitter because
he is a coward. Barr wants to try and salvage the sliver of a reputation he has left (if he ever had one to start with) because he knows that things are going to get more insane as Trump gets closer to the end.
I have a porcupine who comes to the same
place in my yard at almost the same time every afternoon. This is a wide open area on my lawn where he/she seems to be searching for something. The porc stays there for about an hour and then rambles back into the woods. I don't think there's anything in that area of the yard that would attract him/her, like salt.
Does anybody have any ideas/thoughts about this?
Turkey Disaster
This story was told by a woman who called in to a cooking program on a Boston radio station years ago on Thanksgiving morning:
She had dressed her turkey, put in the roasting pan and put it in the oven.
Unbeknownst to her, an unopened can of beans had fallen into the roasting pan behind the turkey.
Three hours later, the can of beans exploded sending the roasting pan with turkey and beans flying out of the oven and across her kitchen hitting the opposite wall.
She was calling in to find out of she could still serve the turkey.
This was on WBZ radio's Dave Maynard show decades ago but I've never forgotten it.
Trump's last stand: between an adult bookstore and a cremation center. Says it all, doesn't it? Smut
and soot.
My pups are spooked...
I've been doing a happy dance around the house with tears streaming down my face. They don't know what to make of it.
Stacey Abrams: I keep reading that Abrams "helped" bring Georgia into the Democratic fold...
It's a classic case of a black woman getting second billing. The fact is that Stacey Abrams made it happen and she needs to get full credit for that.
For what it's worth, my take-away on all of this:
Were it not for the Pandemic, this would have been over on Tuesday night. What this did do is give people an insight into the nitty gritty details of how their votes are processed and that is a good thing. And the bottom line here is that Trump is trying to make criminals of the volunteer vote counters while also attempting to disenfranchise folks who voted by mail to protect their health against a Pandemic that Trump allowed to rage around them. That's my take-away. 🙂
Just so you know...little New Hampshire calmly and quietly
f**ked Donald Trump by 7 percentage points.
In all of the chaos and confusion, has anybody pointed this out...
Trump, if he loses, is going to be indicted. He is going to spend the rest of his sorry life in courts and being deposed and having to spend his own money (not the taxpayers') on defense lawyers. His frightful kids are probably going to meet the same fate. The thought of that makes me very, very happy tonight.
My report from my little town in NH.
I was at the polls from 7 am to 5 pm today. As a Selectman, I was required to be there and my task today was to screen voters for masks and political attire as they came in. We have never seen such a turnout! It was steady all day long. With the exception of 1 person, everybody wore masks. We had no trouble. This town usually leans democratic and today's turnout was much higher that Obama in 2008.
So, there it is from my little corner of NH.
