The day my life changed.

I was working for an organization built in chaos. There was constant turnover. I’d survived due to the specificity of my job. Then they started tightening the screws. Really it was a matter of “oh he seems to be coasting through”.

Little did they know but I was getting out. Very slowly, very stealthy. This included once going to an interview at lunch and putting on the shirt tie and jacket for the suit ina parking lot.

Finally it came to a head on October 4th. They called me into my direct boss’s office. They had written me up for something. I asked “What if I don’t sign it?” ....”Then we’ll ask for your resignation”.....Me: “Okay I’m not resigning” ....they practically started high fiving. What? I asked. YOU SAID OKAY. 10:00 AM

So I’m sitting in my car and call my wife.

I go home and am sitting there looking at my box of office stuff. The phone rings. I’ve been hired at the position I have now. 2:15PM.

I was put of work for 4 1/2 hours.

My wife told me there was some sort of an address.

MSNBC is not focusing on the timeline at all. They mention “Wednesday morning” on the chryon. Of course Andrea Mitchell was on offering that it’s basically all good news.

Gloria Berger, who I normally love, was fired up and Fredericka has some telling facial expressions.

I’ve actually seen another one recently that’s REALLY well done. It has the whole listening and nodding visuals like you see in campaign commercials all the time. They had these for Kavavnaugh too I think.

I just saw the video again on Lawrence O’Donnell. I hadn’t noticed his body language. He had to wear a mask. He had no choice. He’s avoided it out of some sort of rebellion, obstinacy, and an over abundance of self assessed intelligence. He walked out and looked at the cameras with a blank look on his face. He looked like a kid forced to wear a dunce cap.

He also continued to walk at the same gait. Not fast or slow. No stopping. Get from point A to point B. Concentrate. Breath. Almost there. Salute. Get up the stairs. Safe.
