The new dog had a bit of a night last night. The night before too. So I took one for the team and took him downstairs and we ended up snuggsies on the couch.
At one point I look up at the clock and it's 5:45. Alarm is set for 6:00. Close enough I figure. We get up...coffee..he goes outside... we come back in...sit down...kick out the legs on my chair...read some DU....look up ....and it's 5:15.
Oh well. I get that hour back March 8th.

Cherry, who was a star at the University of Akron, spent about three seasons in the NFL on the practice squads and rosters of several teams before walking away in 2007. He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of working in Hollywood.
Cherry wrote and directed "Hair Love," a seven-minute animated short that chronicles an African American father's attempt to do his daughter's hair for the first time.
"'Hair Love' was done because we wanted to see more representation in animation, and we wanted to normalize black hair," Cherry said during his acceptance speech.

The teams were marking the 100th anniversary of the first basketball game between the teams with retro-inspired jerseys that had each team sporting its shade of blue. And in an odd stat, the teams had split the past 100 games evenly, even matching one another with 7,746 points in those meetings.
And now, Duke's ahead by a bucket.
