I DO LOVE George Takei!

And this is an OUTSTANDING reminder!

I wonder if donald keeps two clocks in his bedroom (or wherever it is that he watches most of his TV and rage-tweets in reaction to what's on). One clock with the local time where he is (Eastern time), and the other clock set to Moscow time. So he knows when his boss will be available for a quick call...

Actually planning for either outcome as far as our Indivisible asks.

There WILL be a Supreme Court one. MAN OH MAN will there be a Supreme Court one! Either way!

Either we roar at our Dems who survived the election - to stay strong if we didn't prevail, and not to lose hope; and go balls-out with our ideas to rebuild the country and rebalance the Supreme Court, if we DID prevail.

It's important to start thinking - HOW do we do this? HOW do we make sure whatever republi-CONS survive understand WHO'S THE BOSS, DAMMIT!

Lean in HARD. And lean in, STARTING RIGHT AWAY!

Our asks - for each week - start on Tuesday. So we'll always be trying to work ahead, accordingly.

Hey, always -

MANY virtual to you!

Hope you're staying safe 'n' healthy as well, my friend!

We're doing nicely! Playing it safe, marking Day 238 of our own self-quarantine. Going on little drives so husband can smoke his cigar - he's very considerate AND safe about that stuff, too. Nagging everybody to A) VOTE! and B) Wear a MASK!!!

But that's the crux of it. We're SAFE. And staying healthy. And hey, there's the phone and the 'net and Zoom. So one can modify one's isolation. And since I'm still a news junkie, just keeping up with the news is still a full-time job. BEYOND. I STILL keep up with the news long after I ordinarily would have "clocked out" for the day.

Welcome to DU, c_junk!

As far as the idea being pushed by a Republican, there's a cliche for that. "A broken clock is right twice a day!"

Just for "more-or-less" comparison's sake...

At 9:34am, here's where CNN had it...

Confirmed cases worldwide - 45,192,450
Deaths worldwide - 1,183,400
Confirmed cases US - 8,955,035
Deaths US - 228,808

Checked them this past hour, to see if there were any stats around the same time, but they're focusing on voting figures so far.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
