Seems to me the definition applies to "Pastor" hagee. Seems to me, after going to 14 years of Catholic school and being a believer all my life, that one is not supposed to use one's religion to preach hate and divisiveness. Using God and His Son, the Prince of Peace, to foment hatred and bitterness and misunderstanding. God's message, transmitted through His Son, at least as I have been taught it and always tried to understand it, was about love and inclusiveness. ALL are invited. ALL are welcome. ALL are loved. ALL are saved. Doesn't matter who they are, where they came from, what they look like, or what color or persuasion they are. Jesus wasn't crucified to win the salvation of a narrow sect of people. His message was for ALL. EVERYBODY. And yeah, even the fucking money-changers. He hung out with the outcasts. He preferred the poor and the commoners. He broke bread with the sinners. THAT is the prime religious belief or principle behind ALL of His work and His teachings. And that is exactly what "Pastor" hagee shits upon every time he gets up on his high horse and pontificates with his toxic bile and venom and hatred. He's NO representative of or self-anointed spokesman for Our Lord and Savior.
I'm with you, cynatnite. hagee is the one who should leave. HE should take his bullshit and bitterness and hatred and mean-spiritedness and move to Somalia or some such place. Especially if he never served!!!!

Our dog, Goldie, has four cats to mother. And she does a great job!
We got her from the local shelter after she'd been brought in off the street, she'd been pregnant, no idea what happened to the pups, but she was bleeding, starving, and her teets were hanging down. You could see every bone in her spine, every rib. Horrible. She was so weak! And she was scared and shell-shocked and probably had a case of canine postpartum depression, if such there be (wouldn't surprise me!). We brought her home and she took to the two cats we had as though they were surrogate kittens. WUNNNNNNNNderful!!! And when we brought the two kittens home a year later (litter mates, take 'em both - genuinely FABULOUS idea that we will do again when the opportunity arises!!!!) Goldie took to them also. Now one of them bosses her around all the time. Goldie is a shepherd mix - we usually say "shepherd something" - and she's just wonderful to those kitties!
