I find him painful to watch and listen to - because he has THE ABSOLUTE WORST breath control

in the business.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! Just take the average minute on his program. He will take a breath between his first and last name, he will take a breath between "let's go to the (GASP) scene..." or any number of versions. Every time I see a segment of his, I find new examples. Did NO ONE - EVER give him any on-air coaching before he went on camera? Somebody? Anybody? Did they even notice? I find it utterly infuriating!!!

WORST on-air delivery in the industry. Bar none.

I know what you mean. I feel the same way.

I am just so embarrassed and sickened to see this, again and again. They howl when we object to their jerks and we aren't nearly as rude or shitty. There's no joe wilson on OUR side who was hollering at the george w bushes of the world - "YOU LAH!!!!" And shit - if ANYBODY deserved that kind of reaction or response, it was him! I dunno, sometimes it makes me wonder why we DON'T have more of those types on our side - giving it big-time to the bad guys.

HAH!!! "He can’t get past his hate.” Look who's talking.

HAH! Stephen King has been one of the good guys for a long time.

That's a VERY good point. How is the division of labor in most people's houses?

Does dad help with the diapering? How 'bout the projectile vomiting? Does dad do the laundry sometimes? My husband did, and does, along with readily complaining about people who don't pick their socks up or leaving a wet load in the washing machine for a whole day - tying it up so nobody else can use it for their laundry until they deal with that load one of YOU left unfinished? My husband has his share of "nagging wife" moments. And I actually appreciate that!

I never cook (outside of the big Thanksgiving dinner thing). Just never got around to it. I can BAKE - like there's no tomorrow! But nobody around our house wants or needs to eat much of that kind of thing since we're all battling weight issues all the time. So I almost never cook. Spousal-Unit is a rather gifted chef so he tends to be the dinner cooker. And it's kinda nice that this is what our kids grew up with. Today, our son is quite the gifted chef, too. He's usually the one who sets up the barbecue and cooks for the rest of the boys when they're here. I am hopeful that the more our boys and young men grow up having seen their mom work or leave the house for her job, and HOPEFULLY more men doing the home-related chores, the more "liberated" some of them will be as they reach adulthood. There really needs to be a shift in the national zeitgeist about this. I hope with the Millennials that's what we're seeing now. Our daughter's boyfriend seems to be fairly liberated in that way, too - which I find very gratifying.

I had heard CNN's wolf blitzer had a background with AIPAC, so I looked it up.

In the mid-1970s, Blitzer also contributed to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) as the editor of their monthly publication, the Near East Report.[12][13] While at AIPAC, Blitzer's writing focused on Middle East affairs as they relate to United States foreign policy.

I'd guess his professional background would likely render him sympathetic and perhaps even biased on any issues regarding Israel. He'd certainly be expected to understand things through that filter.

And HOW!

Glorious!

But they better not call themselves "pro-life."

Because they AREN'T.

Man what a creep show!

But I must say I kinda hope she does run. DO IT, michele dear! I appreciate ANY opportunities to enjoy watching teabaggers flush more of their money down the crapper! And she'll have donations, I'm sure. Talk about a "bridge to nowhere!" Every bit as delightful as the Tundra Tart!

Welcome to DU, StevePaulson!

Glad you're here! DAYUM this issue stirs people up. Unbelievable. Sometimes I just don't know what to say, or what to think, about this one. This is one of those times when I'm mighty glad I'M not President.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
