Yes, it did. Gotta admit.

With the proverbial "can o' whoop-ass."

I can't find the cat...

I sure miss Keith Olbermann.

His voice would be great to have back on major-network prime time.

MOST interesting! I bet you're right, Budi!

I suspect THAT'S the clincher, right there.

For whatever it's worth, a Christmas Eve "poem" -

I wrote it for our Indivisible Research & Writing group this past weekend, since they gave me the Thursday "ask" for our Call to Action email.

THURSDAY:
Oh, Tidings of Comfort ...
‘Twas the Night before Christmas and all through the House,
Compassion not stirring, few hopes thereabouts.
The Senate was cozy, GOP-controlled.
But the people were needy and desperate and cold.
Heads were hung low from much COVID despair
Hoping vaccines and leadership soon would be there.
Children in cages, having lost mom and dad,
Only visions of food that more hungry have had.
The planet in peril, our climate gone wrong.
With our usual allies we don’t now belong.
Yet last month’s elections kicked up such a clatter
A negligent President - dumped with a splatter!
With Biden and Harris and help on the way
May we all have a more hopeful Christmas Day!

… with apologies to Clement Clark Moore who wrote “A Visit from St. Nicholas”, may this Christmas Eve bring a sense of encouragement, relief, and renewed optimism!

Wow! Stunning photo!

THANK YOU, Donkees!

Merry Christmas One-Day-Early!

OMG! Glad you're out on the other side of that!

Thanks for letting us know!

And I hope you stay solidly in the feeling-better-every-day mode.

Now THAT'S a good idea!

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
