Well, I have a solution:

Start thinking about masks in a different way.

Not drudgery or forced obligation. Have a little fun with them!

Why not? If we have to tolerate mask-wearing again, or it seriously starts becoming the new normal, why not lighten it up a little? Have a little fun! Why not use your masks to express yourself a little! It’s your way to get creative, that a little of the humdrum out of it. Hey, instead of those pale clinical mass-produced ones, maybe something in royal blue? Or plaid? Maybe something with your favorite professional sports team’s logo on it? How ‘bout something in a relevant zodiac sign? Or a Valentine’s theme? Or a tasteful pattern or pinstripe or floral or watercolory? Textures? Prints of that Van Gogh wheat field? How ‘bout rhinestones? They can easily become conversation-starters or boredom-killers if you’re stuck waiting in line. Might even help perk up somebody’s spirits when they notice what you’re wearing.

Silly? Yup.

Simple? Ridiculously!

Mood-lifting? Definitely?

Why the hell not? If we’re stuck with ‘em, why not have a little fun with ‘em. It’s a LOT better than being bummed out or frustrated or aggravated. And it just might perk up your mood.

Dayum...

What gorgeous photos! You really caught a portrait in grandeur in that collection, Grumpy Old Guy.

What skill? He's been found out.

They sure don’t envy him now.

Good!!!

I sure wouldn’t want to be “represented” by some opportunistic Republican fraud!

Good one! May be useful for an ask to kick off the new year.

We have a “hostile” preparing to “represent” our Congressional district now. Not sure how the battlefield is gonna be shaping up, or whether she intends to be easy or hard to work with.

First time I’ve ever had a GOP representative. Ever. Bracing for an uncomfortable fit.

Shhhhhh - don't wake the baby!

BOOM!!!

Nailed it to the wall!

Hell, THROUGH the wall!

December 30, 2022

Yep. If a Dem had done even a fraction of the crimes the GOP's committed,

Republicans would be all over it like an oil tanker spill. But when THEY’RE the guilty ones…

… crickets.

Do tell, Elise!

We’re here!

And we’re all ears!

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
