Aristus
Aristus's JournalSaturday, September 6th. The Weekend Edition of William Shakespeare's Thought For The Day.
"O, what a scene of foolery have I seen!"
Love's Labour's Lost, Act IV, Scene 3, Line 161.
My community health care company has boosted the number of daily patient visits again.
We have gone from a reasonable 18 per day, to 22-26!
As of lunchtime today, I'm on track to see 22. And that's not factoring in the 3-4 Johnny-Come-Latelies who usually drift in to the clinic without an appointment around 4 on a Friday afternoon, somehow thinking it won't be crowded or anything.
If you're ever tempted (at your next clinic visit) to be upset at the duration of your wait to see the provider, it ain't no picnic for us, either. And unlike the absurd delusions I've seen people post in GD, we're not getting mansions and yachts out of the deal...
I will be hanging with Will Shakespeare for dinner, drinks, and the Seahawks game.
Anybody want to join us?
Happy Hour begins in roughly 90 minutes.
We will also be hashing out this week's edition of WSTFTD.
Hope to see you all there...
The DU Lounge has a new official fragrance - Nudity by Aristus.
"...Capture the nudity...the kind only Aristus can provide..."
A post by Aristus - No mention of nudity: 18-ish views. Mention of nudity: 300+ views.
If there's a demand for Nudity By Aristus (sounds like a cologne...), I guess I should break out the camera...
From 1993: A nude pic of me:
Under the uniform, I mean. Under the uniform, I'm completely naked...
Having some Greek food and a few slugs of Scotch.
How is everyone tonight?
If things in the Lounge keep going at the pace I saw today, DU will have its own nudist colony by the end of the week...
Monday, September 1st. William Shakespeare's Annual Thought For Labor Day.
"We are but warriors for the working-day."
Henry V Act, IV, Scene 3, Line 109.
Saturday, August 30th. The Weekend Edition of William Shakespeare's Thought For The Day.
"Such stuff as madmen tongue, and brain not."
Cymbeline, Act V, Scene 4, Line 146.
Anybody else up? Busy night on call after a horrendously busy day in clinic.
I can't be-lieve how many med refills I've had to do just since 6 this evening. It's as if everyone forgot that it was going to be a three-day weekend, and just put off getting their meds refilled until all the clinics closed...
Anyway, at 8am tomorrow morning, I can start my weekend.
How are the Lounge night-owls doing tonight?
