Donald, Donald, Donald! Ease up with the threats against Twitter, dude! That fact check icon

ain't no thang! Obviously, the Twitter sitters are still totally intimidated by you. They are still treating you with respect and using civil language. IF you were treated as you deserve (I know, I know---it will never happen, but---), all of your tweets would be bracketed with skull and crossbone insignias and have the something like the following in all caps preceding it:

"HEY, YOU---DUMBASS! WHY ARE YOU READING THIS?

DID YOU NOT SEE WHO TWEETED IT?

ARE YOU SOMEHOW SO IGNORANT THAT YOU ARE UNAWARE THAT TRUMP IS THE LYINGEST HUMAN BEING EVER TO DRAW A BREATH?

DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT THE ONLY PRODUCTS OF THE TRUMP REGIME TO DATE ARE HATE, DIVISION, CHAOS, VIRAL DEATH AND MASS UNEMPLOYMENT?

LOOK AT CUTE CAT PHOTOS; CRUISE THE PORN SITES; WATCH VIDEOS OF PAINT DRYING---ANYTHING BUT VOLUNTARILY POISONING YOUR SOUL WITH THIS TRIPE!

So, you see, Donnie, things could be worse. Some real asshole lib like me could be running Twitter!

If having no taste is a symptom of Corona virus infection

Trump could be "Patient Zero".

Hearing Trump describe "only" 100,000 dead as a "great job" reminded me of Robert Southey's

"The Battle of Blenheim" in which a field of rotting corpses is termed a "great victory". https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/45178/the-battle-of-blenheim

To the MAGATs considering attending a Trump rally this summer, a question:

"Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?"

We knew about this pandemic years ago. Oh, we did not know about this specific Covid 19 virus

and we did not know just when it would come ashore in America, but we knew several years ago that a pandemic---probably involving an airborne virus impacting the lungs---would occur. And, you know what? We prepared for it.

Beginning in the George W. Bush administration, but coming to fruition during the Obama administration, some of our best and brightest generated a detailed and comprehensive plan to handle this Corona virus. Qualified experts were given positions within our government to keep watch for the plague everyone KNEW was bound to sweep across the world. Ironically, until about two months before Covid 19 reared its ugly head, we had US scientists inside the very lab where it was identified, placed there specifically to monitor developing disease threats and alert our CDC if warranted.

But,these plans were all for naught. Trump's people trashed the plans and scientifically recommended protocols, eliminated the government group with the knowledge and experience to implement the plans and cut the budget of the CDC by over 100 million dollars. Again ironically, they "justified" the budget cut by insisting that the Obama administration had already done all the pandemic prep necessary and nothing else was needed. And, we all know that the primary motivation for Trump's elimination of all the pandemic response plans and staff was simply because they were the product of "the black guy".

Trump's repeated insistence that "no one expected" this deadly pandemic is beyond bullshit: it is perhaps the most damnable lie ever uttered by any American political figure.

"Recovery"--- of the economy, our public health, our status in the world, our national self esteem, our democracy---cannot and will not even begin until Trump is "removed".

Twixt now and November, behave like the lives of everyone you love depend on defeating the maniac in the White House.

As I could currently be a poster boy for prolonged tonsorial neglect ---maestro, please------

"I let it fly in the breeze
And get caught in the trees
Give a home for the fleas in my hair
A home for fleas
A hive for the buzzin' bees
A nest for birds
There ain't no words
For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder
Of my...

Hair, hair, hair, hair
Grow it, show it
Long as I can grow it
My hair"

Trump is the "man withOUT a plan"---or a clue---or a shred of decency---or

a single true friend on the face of the earth---or a sense of shame---or a single dollar to his name that was honestly earned---or the respect of any of his wives---or a child who does not endure him solely because they want a share of his wealth---or enough self esteem and confidence to face the public without lifts in his shoes, a painted face and a cantilevered coiffure of orange fibers---or the functional vocabulary of a fifth-grader---or any books that he has actually read---or-----------------.

That truthfully as a brief one line comment. The "clue" was a second thought that just popped up after I typed the first clause. Then, "shred of decency" was a third thought and---well, the list just sorta "took off". But, now, I am sure that the list is complete. I have named every single thing that Trump is "without".

Or---did I?

Parents---understand what Trump is saying with his "back to school" push:

"The market is bound to overcome this virus. Invest your children!"

Takes me back to the Sixties---"War is big business. Invest your son!"

In recent photos, Trump's skin looks really bad. Do you think he's about due

to shed? Or, maybe his human suit is just really starting to itch.

Perhaps someone in the White House Bund should explain to Herr Trump that

opening the doors of American businesses does not mean that customers will come through those doors in numbers sufficient to cover expenses. And, his "order" to reopen churches, synagogues and mosques did not fill the pews or prayer rugs in most places.

People are justifiably and reasonably scared that the highly contagious and deadly Corona virus is still surging through the countryside. Big cities; small towns, inner cities; farm country---the people understand that "it ain't over". And, THAT, as they say, is on you, Trump.

100,000 of us---and counting---have died and nearly 40 million of us---and counting---have lost our jobs. And, when you strut around waiving those tiny hands and pursing that sphincter-like mouth as you spew lie after lie after lie about what a great job you've done and how healthy and prosperous we'll all be after we re-elect you, listen carefully and you'll hear the muffled rumble as millions and millions and millions of voters mutter--- "bullshit!"

The spike is coming---mid-summer or so. And, there will be no "executive order" to "re-close". There will be no need for one. Businesses that can't meet payroll, pay their utility bill's or meet their loan payments will make the gut-wrenching decision themselves to shut their doors---most of them for good. And, THAT, too, is on you. It did not have to happen.

It has taken a while---too long in my opinion---but most Americans now see clearly that your dithering ignorance in response to this tragic pandemic is truly most accurately described as a clusterfuck of such epic proportions that no non-obscenity will serve to describe it.

He is cornered, folks, and, like a rat that feels the wall against his back, he will soon turn and start slashing at anything and anyone within reach. Buckle up. To use another animal analogy, the monkey has only just begun to fling his poop.
