I'm sure this will draw fire, but "been there, done that".

How can we criticize anti-vaxxers and such as "anti-science" while featuring political opinions based on astrology?

Astrology may be an amusing pastime for some, but it has NO scientific validity and is considered "peudoscience". It is just as unscientific---and unreliable---as forecasting election results by "reading the entrails of an owl".

To those about to respond that I "just don't understand", you are correct. I also don't understand palm reading and "psychic hotlines". That doesn't mean I can't criticize them and say they are bunk.

I am sorry if that offends some here, but what I just said is factual.

Calling a moron a moron is not inappropriate, it is accurate. Let the RWNJs say whatever they

want about Speaker Pelosi just because she accurately referred to Minority Leader McCarthy as a "moron".

To paraphrase McCarthy's god, "He is what he is".

Can you say "bullshit!" boys and girls? Seriously, we need to start SAYING this out loud in

response to the avalanche of ludicrous lies coming from the folks I'll just call "Qanon anti-science Trump cultists".

This occurred to me when I saw a ridiculous gaggle of them protesting mask mandates behind a sign reading "THE SCIENCE IS IN---MASKS DON'T WORK!"

I know this is easy to say and you may choose to disbelieve me but, had I been present, they'd have heard that word loud and clear again and again until I was carried out. It would not change THEIR minds, but others observing them need to hear it.

"bullshit" unchallenged becomes "BULLSHIT!"

Could someone please explain to me why anyone would give a big brown rat's ass

what Piers Morgan thinks abou ANYTHING?

I must be missing something.

The difference between the parties?

WE see Kinzinger tear up and we identify and empathize.

THEY see Kinzinger tear up and mock him on TV. Off camera, they call him a "pussy".

"But you tell me over and over and over again my friend,

Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction!"

Those of us who watched today's testimony before the Select Committee were impressed not just

by WHAT was said, but also HOW it was said. The genuine emotion and passion of the officers redoubled their testimony's impact. Most of us were stirred---angered, in many cases---by what we saw and heard. We naturally assume that anyone, even many Trumpies, will be similarly affected. BUT,------

---we need to keep in mind that not only will many Trumpies not hear HOW the officers spoke; they won't even hear or read WHAT they actually said. They will hear what some hack on Fox or OAN or some Qanon chat room SAYS they said. Before the hearing even ended, RWNJs on social media were already slandering the officers.

This Select Committee was formed to find the truth about January 6th and truth means nothing to these people.

Donald Trump plus all his children, their spouses or mistresses; Pence, Meadows,

Miller, Pompeo, Giuliani, Ginnie Thomas, Barrack, Flynn's brother ( name? ), Barr, Jordan, Greene, Boebert, Gosar, Biggs, Gohmert and Gaetz.

That's my list of those I would love to see subpoenaed to testify before the House Select Committee.

I understand many would not be considered "politically wise" but, if I had my druthers----------.

Many years ago, the small-town high school I attended had 3 or 4 "assemblies" each year.

Some were entertaining and some were meant to inform. One in particular that I recall dealt with the dangers of speeding and reckless driving and encouraged the wearing of those new-fangled "seat belts". ( Yes, I am THAT old. ) The presenter went through a series of statistics about how we were more likely to be maimed or killed if we were in a high speed accident without a seat belt on.

Knowing how invincible we all felt and how none of us thought WE would ever need a silly seat belt, the guy uncovered a suitcase beside him, placed it on a table near the assembled student body and opened it. It was full of white medical capsules.

"There are 10,000 of these gelatin capsules in here," he began. "All but one contain harmless powdered sugar, but ONE----" he continued, pausing dramatically, "contains deadly strychnine, a poison so strong and quick acting that if someone were to swallow it, they'd be dead before an ambulance even got here." The gymnasium was totally silent.

"Is there anyone here who cares so little about their life that they'd be foolish enough to swallow any one of these?" he asked, stirring the suitcase full of identical capsules with his hand. "Here, the odds are 9,999 to one in your favor. Statistically, that's better odds than your chance of surviving a high speed head-on without a seat belt!"

Back then, no one wanted to swallow a capsule. Today, if Trump told them strychnine was a hoax------who knows?
