Phoenix-bound airplane turns around due to heat

http://www.azfamily.com/story/32257743/flight-to-phoenix-returns-to-houston-due-to-heat

PHOENIX (KPHO/KTVK) - A flight from Houston to Phoenix had to turn around due to concerns about the heat on Sunday.

United Airlines' flight 6186 left Houston and made it into New Mexico.

Due to heat-related concerns, the plane diverted back to Houston International Airport, Ericka Wilkerson with Sky Harbor International Airport said.

The plane was an Embraer 175.

What if Bernie never concedes?

What does Bernie's uphill climb to take the nomination look like?

Just for funsies, I did the numbers on the feasibility of Bernie coming up with enough delegates to win the nomination.

According to the return you get when you google "democratic delegate count," Senator Sanders currently has 1,876 delegates in his column, counting both pledged (1,828) and super (48) delegates. He needs to come up with 2,383 of them to send Hillary home.

There are at this moment 112 PD and SD still available. Since we're just scratching here, let's assign all 112 to Bernie. Now he has 1,988.

Subtract what he has from his goal and he has to convince 395 delegates to see the righteousness of his platform and switch allegiances to him. Which actually means, since we are Democrats and Democrats are authorized to change their minds, Bernie - who hasn't had good luck at earning superdelegates so far - has to flip 443 of Hillary's SDs to be sure because there's no guarantee the ones he has won't drop him en masse like a boiled rock.

What does this all mean? Simply put, that because the odds of the American people actually voting for a Manhattan Nazi are even lower than their voting for a socialist...

this is what the 45th President of the United States looks like.

Has anyone seen Killer Mike recently?

For a while he was everywhere; now he's nowhere to be found.

Today in History: Ten Cent Beer Night

Forty-two years ago today, the Cleveland Indians decided to prop up attendance at one of their games against the Texas Rangers by offering 12-ounce cups of beer for ten cents. Fans were allowed to buy six beers per purchase, with no limit on the number of purchases per fan. The result was nearly as disastrous as the Indians were that season.
