George Harrison - All Things Must Pass Live - 1997 on VH1

Sunrise doesn't last all morning
A cloudburst doesn't last all day

Seems my love is up
And has left you with no warning
But it's not always going
To be this grey
All things must pass
All things must pass away

Sunset doesn't last all evening
A mind can blow those clouds away
After all this my love is up
And must be leaving
But it's not always going
To be this grey

All things must pass
All things must pass away
All things must pass
None of life's strings can last
So I must be on my way
And face another day
Now the darkness only stays at night time
In the morning it will fade away

Daylight is good
At arriving at the right time
But it's not always going
To be this way
All things must pass
All things must pass away
All things must pass
All things must pass away

Prince - Uptown

Prince - Uptown

She saw me walking down the streets of your fine city
It kinda turned me on when she looked at me and said, "Come here"
Now I don't usually talk to strangers but she looked so pretty
What can I lose, if I, uh, just give her a little ear?

"What's up little girl?"
"I ain't got time to play"

Baby didn't say too much
She said, "Are you gay?"

Kinda took me by surprise, I didn't know what to do
I just looked her in her eyes and I said, "no, are you?"

Said to myself, said
"She's just a crazy, crazy, crazy little mixed up dame
She's just a victim of society and all its games"

Now where I come from,
We don't let society tell us how it's supposed to be
Our clothes, our hair, we don't care
It's all about being there

Everybody's going uptown
That's where I want to be
Uptown

Set your mind free

Puerto rico is "broken" 100 days after hurricane maria and trump is no help, locals say

It has been 100 days since Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, and the U.S. territory is struggling with scarce resources and strained health care services, with about half of the island still lacking power, officials and residents told Newsweek. The struggles drag on as the death toll from the monster storm keeps rising—possibly topping 1,000 people—and local leaders say President Donald Trump still turns a blind eye to the island's pain.

“He has failed the moral imperative that any leader of the free world should hold at the highest level,” San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz said about the recovery efforts.

“All he needs to do is simple: do his job. I think the world has seen a commander in chief unable to command,” she said.

It Seems Julian Assange Has Deleted His Twitter Account

Could be not much, could be huge. Merry Christmas!

For reasons unknown the official Twitter account of Julian Assange, the leader of disgraced transparency organization Wikileaks, has been deleted. The Internet Archive—or someone availing themselves of its services—appears to have been preserving snapshots of Assange’s account once every hour since September 18th of this year. Based on that information, it’s likely the @JulianAssange account was deleted between midnight and 1am GMT.

Lakewood mayor predicts deadly accidents from high-speed train service -Dec 5

The mayor of Lakewood believes it is just a matter of time before these high speed trains kill someone. He asked the DOT presenters to do better. Mayor Don Anderson said grade separations – such as overpasses – should be included to keep trains away from cars and pedestrians.

“Come back when there is that accident, and try to justify not putting in those safety enhancements, or you can go back now and advocate for the money to do it, because this project was never needed and endangers our citizens,” Anderson said.
