Cheney reveals witness tampering by Team Trump. Arrest warrants should issue PROMPTLY. Here's why.

Rep. Liz Cheney revealed two messages that indicate Team Trump is tampering with witnesses who are testifying before the January 6 select committee investigating the insurrection. Witness tampering is a clear and present danger to the integrity of any investigation, whether congressional or criminal.

Offenses like witness tampering DO NOT call for the opening of a lengthy grand jury investigation. The Department of Justice must act on this evidence immediately. These kind of offense require an immediate response, as follows: the FBI should interview the witness, put the information about the tampering in an affidavit in support of an arrest warrant, present the warrant application to a judge and, once the warrant is issued, inmmidiately arrest the perpetrator. This is how law enforcement is support to work when it comes to witness tampering. This is the only way to preserve the integrity of one of our nation's most important investigations ever. Additionally, this is the only way to deter other members of Team Trump from tampering with witnesses. - Glenn Kirschner 06/30/2022.

Ginni Thomas' Lawyer Tries To Argue That Life Is Too Stressful For Her To Testify - Ring of Fire

Ginni Thomas really doesn't want to have to appear before the January 6th Select Committee, and her lawyer is pulling out all of the stops to try to make sure it doesn't happen. Thomas actually had her lawyer argue in court this week that one of the reasons her testimony should at least be delayed is because, as they put it, this is a very stressful time for her. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains why things are likely going to get much more stressful for the entire Thomas family as the days drag on.

Anita Hill Issues Dire Warning: Expect Stronger Restrictions On Reproductive Rights In Coming Years

The legitimacy of the Supreme Court remains in question as their ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade continues to roil America. At the same time, Justice Clarence Thomas continues to be scrutinized over everything from his wife’s MAGA activism to his calls for overturning precedents on gay marriage and contraception.

MAGA-World Crime Spree: See Trump Coup Plotter Patted Down On Camera - The Beat - MSNBC

Donald Trump and his allies are dealing with a legal nightmare. The damning, new evidence presented against Trump during the latest Jan. 6 hearing may lead to his indictment, and his top White House counsel was just subpoenaed by the Jan. 6 panel.

A Trump lawyer at the center of the same coup plot had his phone seized by the feds, and Trump’s DOJ ally Jeffrey Clark has also been raided by federal investigators. In total, 12 Trump allies have been indicted, which is more than any one-term president in U.S. history. MSNBC's Ari Melber breaks down their legal woes. Aired on 06/30/2022.

Following former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s bombshell testimony before the Jan. 6 committee, Donald Trump’s top lawyer during the insurrection, Pat Cipollone, has been subpoenaed by the House panel. Pat Cipollone had warned Trump aides of possible crimes regarding the Jan. 6 insurrection. Meanwhile, Trump is on defense, denying Hutchinson’s grave claims as some MAGA vets turn on him. Pre-born Patriots - Supreme Court Overturns Roe v. Wade - Mark Fiore Political Cartoons

The rulings are coming fast and furious from the now unabashedly Trumpian U.S. Supreme Court. With the no-holds-barred decision to completely chuck Roe v. Wade and toss a 109-year-old New York gun law, the gloves are off on the right-wing side of the Court.

For good measure they threw in a ruling supporting school prayer on the 50-yard line of a public high school. Times are tough for the three liberal/sane justices on the Supreme Court as their dissents become more scathing.

Justices Breyer, Kagan and Sotomayor wrote in their dissent in Dobbs v. Jackson that the majority’s decision is “based on nothing more than the new views of new judges.” Yeouch.

From the Dobbs decision to the New York Rifle and Pistol ruling, it is abundantly clear that the U.S. Supreme Court is now led by three new right-wing justices who were placed there by an unstable president who tried to carry out a coup.

Reporter Says Trump's Secret Service Was Cheering On Insurrection - Ring of Fire

Author and Washington Post reporter Carol Leonnig said this week that certain members of Donald Trump's Secret Service detail were actively supporting the January 6th Capitol Riot, with some even posting messages of support on social media. Leonnig actually wrote a book on the Secret Service not long ago, and understands the agency and their behavior better than anyone. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what these allegations could mean for the agency's denial of Cassidy Hutchinson's account of the events of that day.
