Allie Beth Stuckey: Anti-LGBTQI, Christian fanatic and propagandist

What do you call it when one is divinely inspired to be the savior of western culture and the American way of life? Answer: Christian fanaticism.

If one wants to indulge in a little recreational religious zealotry on Wednesday night and Sunday morning — have at it. However, if one starts insisting their zeal is the most sacred - and all others are deviant - that’s unacceptable. Don’t expect the rest of us to accommodate your magic. Please note Allie Beth Stuckey’s beliefs about inclusion and empathy below.

Allie Beth Stuckey teeters between culture war crusader and fundamentalist Christian propagandist

On her Relatable podcast, anti-LGBTQ right-wing pundit Allie Beth Stuckey pushes a far-right, Christian agenda to young women. Stuckey weaponizes her Christian faith to attack non-traditional gender roles, often targeting and spreading misinformation about LGBTQ people and those that do not adhere to her prescribed fundamentalist lifestyle…

On Twitter, Stuckey has attacked and demeaned the queer community. She bluntly says she doesn’t care about being labeled a blatant homophobe…

In June 2021, Stuckey said Christians should “refuse to tell lies” and “love your neighbor,” but “love does not mean the tolerance or the acceptance of that which we know is not good and right and true.”

Stuckey attacked the concepts of inclusion and empathy during an episode titled “Christians: Beware of Toxic Empathy.” Stuckey said that “empathy and inclusion are the values that have sucked so many people, … especially Christian women into accepting ideas and policies that are actually very harmful” to society.

Yeah - and theirs is a different country, a different culture.

I’m really trying to overcome that giant sucking noise in the modern United States. Mainly faith-based, many points of light, we love everyone (unless we don’t) white heteronormative supremacy. The same noise that says, my belief system has more legitimacy than your facts.

Public displays of Christian piety. It's a performance.

None of this has anything to do with Christ’s ministry. It’s just a passive aggressive flex by people with a resentment toward modernity and secular authority. Who needs it?

June 27, 2022

Who needs these public displays of piety? It's rude.

Hegemony, conformity, power - I hate being in what should be secular space only to negotiate someone’s religious performance. It’s creepy and so very passive aggressive.

Take your well rehearsed incantations to whatever space they truly belong and leave the rest of us in peace.

She supports and defends your right to practice your faith.

She doesn’t want you to practice your faith in her bedroom, her doctor’s office, her marriage, her workplace, etc.

You’re welcome.

...if your religion is about controlling others for their own good.

I don’t need anyone’s religion. Especially those who think it’s their right to make me adhere to their selective definition of morality. Fuck those people.

How can systems best protect themselves from sociopaths?

Food for thought regarding sociopaths: I’m wondering if “defensive” guidelines for personal relationships are transferable to a systems analogy. Once sociopaths gain any kind of real power, they generate their own weather. It’s all predictable but controlling it? Repairing the damage? God, that’s tough work.

31 people in masks, riot gear pulled over in U-Haul near Coeur d'Alene Pride in the Park; arrested for conspiracy to riot

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - A U-Haul van filled with men in white masks and similar attire was detained by police on Garden Ave. off of Northwest Blvd., just a block away from the 6th annual Pride in the Park event.

Couer d'Alene police confirmed at a press briefing that 31 individuals were within the U-Haul, coming from numerous states including Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Illinois, South Dakota, Virginia, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Arkansas, and Wyoming.

Those in the van were equipped with with shields and riot gear, and at least one had smoke grenades.

In the briefing, police say they received several tips from the community over the course of the week of potential threats, necessitating the heavy police presence from several agencies in the downtown Coeur d'Alene area. A phone call was received around 1:30 Saturday afternoon from a concerned citizen who claimed they saw around 20 people wearing masks jump into the back of a U-Haul, looking like 'a little army.'

It's a shame those tens of thousands of gay men with AIDS can't respond.

Allow me to remind us all: People made AIDS jokes. In public. And laughed. That’s how evil it all was (and is). Tens of millions said gay men deserved their suffering and deaths. If you struggle to understand the United States today — remember this.

So, miss me with the rehab of Koch’s legacy and life choices. And others like him. I know what I did and I can tell you, Ed Koch (and Tab Hunter, etc.) weren’t there.

I'm willing to defy institutional power if it endangers women's quality of life.

If the standard of law and the court are corrupted, the gloves come off.

How long should I be complicit before I say enough is enough?

When there’s justice for women, there’ll be justice for the court. Just my .02 cents.
