How's this for Harley bike-- as in bicycle. Electric bicycle...

They can't sell their electric motorcyle, so took off in new direction:

It's called Serial 1 and there is absolutely nothing much about it, like weight, speed, range, or price, but they say it will be available around March.

And yes, that is a belt, not a chain.

Susan Zirinsky, President of CBS news, talks about 60 minutes, Lesley Stahl, and Trump's walkout...

And other things.

https://www.pbs.org/wnet/amanpour-and-company/video/behind-scenes-when-pres-trump-walked-out-60-minutes-bdtohj/

She also gives us a lot of background on just what goes on in the newsroom. Really-- a lot. These people, most of them anyway, are as professional as you can find in any field.

Minor note-- Stahl has been through a lot more elections than Trump has, and learned a lot more about how they work.

Major note-- they got an equal amounts of complaints from all sides this year and say if they pissed off everyone equally, they have done their jobs.

(A common thread-- years ago I heard a judge say he made a good decision if both sides were equally pissed)

I stumbled on to a huge utube page of CNN slams on Trump, so if you have some time...

this one starts it somewhere in the middle:

My thought is that the right to vote is paramount and should be allowed unless something...

is definitively disqualifying. They are going at it as though voting is a privilege, and we must prove our right to vote.

Besides that, the states aren't required to count the votes until December, and the EC to send their results until January. All of this is by law, not the Constitution, and does not show any need to rush the vote. And Bush v. Gore was never, iirc, meant to be a precedent of any kind.

So, there seems to be absolutely no right, rhyme, nor reason for the SC to get involved in this election at all.

But they will, which makes the Court political, not judicial.

Just watched 60 minutes clips (I think I got the whole thing) and...

Trump was threatening Stahl. Really. He came at her at every chance, even complaining that "Are you ready for tough questions?" was out of line.

His only answers were "Yes, we were great!" Backed up by lies and bullshit. Admittedly, the trade deficit with China is lower, but because we're not buying that much of anything lately. And it's not that much lower.

Speaking of China, according to the Times and Forbes, he paid almost $300,000 in taxes to China while paying none here. And there was that huge loan from China that China says it sold shortly after making it. Lessee, Trump's got a loan payment coming up, China gives him one that even Deutsche Bank thinks is iffy and sells the loan a few weeks later. Think about that long and hard. (Who did China sell it to, and for how much?)

But, I digress...

Stahl was even laughing at some of his answers, but he wouldn't back down, insulting her in the process. I kept waiting for her to get up and storm out -- "Can't do this any more. This is bullshit." But she was almost having fun playing him.

O'Donnell's interviews with Harris and Biden went much better. She did hit them with some tough ones (Trump said she softballed them) and they answered even better than I thought they would.

Anyone else listening to Harris on CNN? Tuned in a few minutes ago and she is one...

damn serious woman.

Put her on the road with Michelle for anything and just lean back and watch the show.

On Long Island-- not as bad as NYC, but hours to vote early...

https://riverheadnewsreview.timesreview.com/2020/10/102594/first-day-of-early-voting-brings-out-the-crowd-in-riverhead-and-southold/

By early afternoon, the parking lot at the Senior Center on Shade Tree Lane in Aquebogue was filled, with cars lined up and down the street and a number of Riverhead Town police officers directing traffic and keeping the line moving in an orderly fashion.

Kathy, who did not want to use her last name, said she and her husband drove out from New York City because they can legally vote in Suffolk County. She said they first stopped at Brookhaven Town Hall — one of three early voting locations in that town — but the line there was “incredible.”

“They said it would be a four to five hour wait,” she said. “So we came here.”

Truer words... Truer words... And, on another front, if Walter Cronkite were alive today, he would..

be trashed by all sides, each finding something, however trivial, to beat him up over.

The last truth will be on our tombstone-- "We have met the enemy and it is us."

So I signed up for the Peacock streaming channel, and there was a bandwidth problem so...

I ended up listening to the debate on Sirius. Nicer not looking at Tangerine Wankmaggot.

Anyway, after that was done with, started snooping around and saw Monk.

9 seasons, 125 episodes... And I think they're all there. And there are a lot more series'. And movies. And even more if you want to pay.

I'm doomed.
