i think she is waiting to see a witness sent to jail by a judge for refusing to testify. i dont think she is wrong to worry about how this is going to play out in our increasingly corrupted courts.
and she wants to see the grand jury material released.
she is correct to see the success of their stonewalling so far as a serious threat to the god damned republic. she needs to see some cracks in that stone wall first.
she said today- their advocacy for impeachment only gives me leverage.
i have no doubt she will be right there when the time comes.
(ps- if she is waiting for people to be in the streets, i would humbly submit that when they return from recess they should be met in the streets by we the people.)

are there any fiber supplements out there that arent gross?
i have diverticulosis, which bothers me from time to time, but is generally low on the list of things that really get in my way, healthwise.
but lately it has really been sucking. a lot of discomfort, and digestive distress. there is little to be done about it, but a fiber supplement can help.
i have tried a few over the years. those drink things are like drinking snot. i used to do a tablet that was a little like a tums, but it was sticky, and coated my teeth. uck.
the metamusal cookies are not bad. i could stand it.
but wondering if anyone has conquered this beast.
1st endangered piping plover chick at montrose beach, chicago.
to ritchie daley's everlasting credit, he cared about the birds of chicago.
the legend is that he came into his city hall office one day and asked his aids- how come we only got one kind of boid here? all we gots is pigeons. why is that?
when someone got back to him that the answer had to do w habitat, he went all out to create habitat in the city.
one of his projects was to enlarge the habitat at montrose beach on lake michigan. the "magic hedge" there is an internationally famous birding spot.
he expanded dunes there, and they have come.
not sure how many plovers there are, but this is the second clutch, and the first successful hatch.
the last clutch was lost to a storm that flooded the nest, and the couple moves uphill a bit.
there have been volunteer guards around the nest for weeks now.

which dems are AGAINST impeachment?
we have 80something on the public record supporting impeachment.
pelosi and clybourn have said the caucus is not there yet.
i can see that there are those that are ready to go, but keeping their head down, so let's assume there are 100 yeahs.
who are those on the other side, who obviously have some weight to pull off that balancing of the scales?
i dont believe it is just pelosi.

just a weird thing that flicked through my addled brain-
talking about the weather in dc tonight, everyone hoping for a tightly controlled weather disaster. or at least an ugly ass angry cloudy sky to give the whole thing the ominous backdrop it deserves.
my fantasy went to what sort of weather could be selective enough to look like true divine condemnation, and not hurt innocent bystanders.
