Bernie Sanders won one more delegate in Colorado than first projected after the Colorado Democratic Party admitted this week that it misreported the March 1 caucus results from 10 precinct locations.
The error — first uncovered by The Denver Post — was shared with rival Hillary Clinton's campaign by party officials but kept from Sanders until the Post told his staff Monday night.
The mistake is a minor shift with major implications. The new projection now shows the Vermont senator winning 39 delegates in Colorado, compared to 27 for Clinton.

Asked why he told one campaign and not the other, Palacio said "it didn't necessarily affect (them). It was our mistake that ended up affecting the estimation on Hillary's campaign."
Deutsche Bank freezes North Carolina expansion over NC law

In the latest sign of fallout over a controversial North Carolina law that eliminates antidiscrimination protections for lesbian, gay and transgender people, Deutsche Bank AG said Tuesday it is halting plans to add 250 new jobs outside Raleigh.
The German bank already employs about 900 people at a software-application development center in Cary, N.C., and announced plans in September to add 250 new positions to its operations in the Raleigh suburb.
A week ago, online-payment firm PayPal Holdings Inc. said it wouldn't open a new 400-employee global operations center in Charlotte because of the new state law.
The controversial law requires transgender people to use the public bathroom corresponding to the gender on their birth certificate.

Sanders turned out a huge crowd. He also took a notable detourBefore Bernie Sanders spoke to over 11,000 people on Monday at the University of Buffalo, he made a brief unscheduled stop. The crowd in the alumni arena was more diverse than most Sanders rallies—not as diverse as Buffalo itself, a city where non-Hispanic whites are in the minority, but with a greater number of black and brown faces than I’d seen in other rallies in other parts of the country. And like every Sanders rally I’ve been to, the crowd was happy to be there, shouting “Ber-nie! Ber-nie!” at every rumor of the candidate’s appearance, and gleefully taking selfies of one another before, during, and after Sanders’s 90 minute speech.
The audience at Sanders’s first stop was a lot quieter, a lot older, a lot whiter—and a whole lot smaller. They were pleased to see Sanders, but there was no mistaking the scene at Local 1122 of the Communications Workers of America for a rock concert or a sporting event. These were 25 shop stewards at Verizon who had to prepare their members to go on strike on Wednesday morning, and the mood in the room was a mixture of anxiety and defiant anger.
“It’s getting old, having to fight just to keep our jobs,” said Larry Turner, a 25 year veteran. “Ever since the merger with Bell Atlantic [in 2000] it seems like we have to keep fighting just to stay in place. They were supposed to be building FiOS [fast broadband] here in Buffalo and they just stopped.”
When Sanders arrived, the stewards, who had been discussing the likelihood that Verizon would try to discipline or discharge members, interrupted their strategy session to listen to the man Larry Cohen, the former president of the union who now leads Labor for Bernie, told them had always had their backs. “I want to thank you for standing up to the outrageous greed of corporate America,” Sanders told them, pointing out that Verizon had booked $ 39 Billion in profits over the past three years. The company recently bid billions for the loss-making Yahoo—yet continues to demand its workers pay more for their health coverage.

Bernie Sanders rally in Syracuse includes Rosario Dawson, Kendrick Sampson
U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders just added a little star power to his Syracuse campaign rally planned for Tuesday afternoon.
Hollywood stars Kendrick Sampson and Rosario Dawson will appear with the 74-year-old Democratic presidential candidate as special guests at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center in downtown Syracuse.
Musician Joe Driscoll, a Syracuse native, will round out the group of stars expected to rally up to 5,000 people for the event, the Sanders campaign said today.
Doors to the rally will open at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the program beginning in the afternoon. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is recommended by the Sanders campaign.

On NBC’s Meet The Press, Sen. Sanders argued that Hillary Clinton’s support for trade agreements is bad for working families, “Well, when you vote for virtually every trade agreement that has cost the workers of this country millions of jobs, when you support and continue to support fracking, despite the crisis that we have in terms of clean water, and essentially, when you have a super PAC that is raising tens of millions of dollars from every special interest out there, including 15 million from Wall Street, the American people do not believe that that is the kind of president that we need to make the changes in America to protect the working families of this country.”

On ABC’s This Week, Sanders discussed the economic struggles of those who are living on Social Security, “Let me go back to Social Security. There are millions of disabled veterans and seniors who are trying to make it on 11,000 or 12,000 a year Social Security and they can’t. The Republicans in many instances want to cut Social Security, what I want to do is expand it. And what I said yesterday is we have legislation and it has good support that says you lift the cap on taxable income. Right now, somebody makes millions, somebody makes $118,000, they pay the same amount into it. If you lift the cap starting at $250,000 and above — $250,000 and above — we can improve benefits for seniors earning $16,000 a year or less by $1,300 a year. Not insignificant. And extend the life of social security for 58 years. That is my view.”
