• Yesterday, Joe Biden won the first presidential debate of the General election! At the debate, Joe Biden exhibited statesmanlike leadership and spoke to the American people about his plan to heal the nation and build our country back better.

• Today, Jill and Joe Biden will embark on a “Build Back Better Express” train tour to travel across Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Vice President Biden will highlight how he will build our economy back better for working families, not the super wealthy and corporations.

• Doug Emhoff will virtually travel to New Hampshire, where he will participate in virtual tours of Revision Energy, a solar company serving New England, and Brown & Company, a graphic design company. After, Mr. Emhoff will launch a phone bank with Granite Staters. With early voting underway in New Hampshire, this event will focus on the importance of getting registered and early voting.

• Biden for President will host Racism as a Religious Issue. Senator Chris Coons, Rev. Jim Wallis, Rev. Dr. Cynthia Hale, Dr. Nichole Flores, actor Gaius Charles and others will join in an important conversation about what we believe is the real religious issue of the election: systemic racism. The discussion will also highlight the contrast between the common good values of the Biden-Harris agenda, which deeply aligns with the values of people of faith, and the agenda of the current administration, which is based in divisiveness and fear.

• In a new Civiqs poll, Joe Biden leads Donald Trump 50-47 in the historically red state of Georgia.

@JoeBiden: You have it in your control to determine what this country’s gonna look like the next four years. Is it going to change –– or are you going to get four more years of these lies?

@JoeBiden: We need a president who will bring us together — not tear us further apart.

Remember that Joe is a stutterer and did great tonight

I stuttered until 4th grade. I still have issues when I am tired or stressed. I have met Joe twice in person at fundraisers and we discussed stuttering at one fundraiser Joe told me that he has issues when he is tired. Joe discussed the 20+ young stutterers he keeps track of and I was the recipient of a Biden hug.

I heard Joe use a couple of the coping tricks a couple of times but you had to know what to look for to notice these struggles. I am so proud of Joe.

@JoeBiden: The truth is the economy wasn’t working for folks long before these crises hit. It’s why @KamalaHarris and I won’t just build back to the way things were — we’ll build back better. We won’t be satisfied until the economy starts working for everyone.

@JoeBiden: Thank you @TheRock for your support at this critical moment for our nation. You said it best: This election is about earning the respect of the American people. It’s about decency. It’s about electing leaders who tell the truth. Thanks again, DJ. Next time we’re talking cars.

@JoeBiden: Jill, Kamala, Doug, and our families all extend our warmest wishes to all who observe Yom Kippur. May you have an easy and meaningful fast. And may you be sealed in the Book of Life.

Carville agrees with my theory on how trump will eventually leave the White House

I do not believe that trump really believe that he can truly contest the election results if the current polling results are accurate. If the current polls are accurate, Biden will win by a landslide and there will be no legitimate way to contest the election result. Floriuda will have accurate election results out on election night that will be good except for some miliary ballots. If trump loses Florida, then any election contest will be doomed to fail. However trump's threats could give him leverage to negotiate a plea deal with Governor Cuomo, AG James or DA Cyrus Vance where trump would agree to a peaceful transfer of power in exchange for no prison time for NY state tax charges.

I believe that trump will either pardon himself or will resign and have Pence pardon him for all federal crimes. trump may pardon his family members and some loyal idiots like Barr. The pardon will get rid of federal crimes and so trump needs to worry about state crimes and hsi biggest risk is NY state. I believe that trump will cur a deal with NY for a peaceful transfer of power in exchange for no prison time for turmp and perhaps members of his family
