About Me

I've been a female working a "man's job" (mechanical engineer), stay at home Mom (6 kids), working Mom (6 kids to put through college), unemployed, underemployed, temporarily employed and now working from home! We live on an old, small farm with 2 dogs and 2 cats in the house, variable number of chickens out in the yard.

Time to encourage Harry to follow through!

Any idea what the turnout was?

House races? NY 24th - at 10:56 EST it looks like the Democrat Dan Maffei

has taken the seat back from Tea Party Ann Marie Burkle!

It's one measure of today's turnout - no idea how close to reality -

When do the California polls close?

Post here if you're about ready to scream waiting for the election results!

Tim Matheson, Paul Rudd, seperated at birth?

What's up with the long voting lines?

Are these people who want to vote early and/or can't be there to vote Tuesday? Would they normally vote on Election Day? Would they normally vote at all? Are they voting early because of long lines on Election Day, and they're afraid of getting shut out if they wait?

I've never seen a voting line longer than two or three people!
