Higher COVID Rate Found In Some Counties With Higher Vaccination Rate
Wow this is fascinating to me. In California, infection rates are higher where vaccination rates are higher. They are thinking now that people who are vaccinated may be infected and not know it and are infecting more people. Plus the more populous you are the more danger you have, duh

Lord, we didn't want to be in the news, at least not for this, maybe for serving or some extreme generosity, but not this," he said. "So we ask for your mercy. We ask for your healing for all of those who became sick with this virus and for their families who've have been caring for them as well. We pray for complete recovery so that people don't have any lingering effects, and we pray that you would put a stop to the spread of this virus."

Texas governor Greg Abbott said that Democratic lawmakers who have left the state can and "will be arrested" upon their return as he pushes ahead with changes in voting laws.
Abbott, a Republican, gave an interview to KVUE on Monday about the Democrats' decision to leave the state and whether the special session of the Texas legislature the governor called can go ahead.
Snip
KVUE asked Abbott if the Democratic walkout meant the voting bills - Senate Bill 1 and House Bill 3 - could not be passed and if he could do anything as governor to compel the lawmakers to return to the state.
Abbott said there "still remains plenty of time to pass not just the bills you mentioned but there's a lot of other bills on there."

A showdown in the Texas House was locked into place Tuesday after the chamber voted overwhelmingly to send law enforcement after Democrats who left the state a day earlier in protest of a GOP priority elections legislation.
More than 50 House Democrats left Monday for Washington, D.C., to deny the chamber a quorum the minimum number of lawmakers needed to conduct business as it takes up voting restrictions and other Republican priorities in a special session.
That agenda, set by Gov. Greg Abbott, includes House Bill 3 and Senate Bill 1, the election legislation at hand that would make a number of changes to Texas' voting system, such as banning drive-thru and 24 hour voting options and further restricting the state's voting-by-mail rules. Over the weekend, both House and Senate committees advanced the election bills.
