Peter King: Boehner exit means 'the crazies have taken over the party'

“I think it signals the crazies have taken over the party, taken over to the party that you can remove a speaker of the House who’s second in line to be president, a constitutional officer in the middle of his term with no allegations of impropriety, a person who’s honest and doing his job. This has never happened before in our country," King said in an interview with CNN's Dana Bash on Friday afternoon. "He could have stayed on.”

Oath Keepers Send Armed Guards To Protect Kim Davis From US Marshals -

Rhodes said that the Rowan County sheriff should have blocked U.S. Marshals from detaining Davis, but since neither the sheriff nor the state’s governor will do their “job” and “intercede” on behalf of Davis, the Oath Keepers will have to do it instead. “As far as we’re concerned, this is not over,” he said, “and this judge needs to be put on notice that his behavior is not going to be accepted and we’ll be there to stop it and intercede ourselves if we have to. If the sheriff, who should be interceding, is not going to do his job and the governor is not going to do the governor’s job of interceding, then we’ll do it.” -

Teacher shortage in Wisconsin affecting local school district

Thanks Scott Walker!

Douche!

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) -

There are only a few weeks until the first day of school and the La Crosse School District still has quite a few open positions, and it's a problem that isn't unique to La Crosse.

Before the school year begins on Sept. 1 the district needs to fill 23 different positions, but the district said that's proving to be difficult because the number of applicants continues to drop each year.

"You can't just take anybody off the street to do those jobs," said Steve Salerno, associate superintendent of human resources for the school district.

Salerno said until 2011 there were virtually no issues trying to fill an open position, but since then, trying to find a teacher, administrator, even a teaching assistant has been been difficult.
