NY Mag: Donald Trump Jr. Expecting to Be Indicted by Mueller Soon

http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2018/11/donald-trump-jr-expecting-to-be-indicted-by-mueller-soon.html

Last year, Donald Trump Jr. testified that he never informed his father of a meeting with Russian officials promising “dirt” on Hillary Clinton. It seemed hard to believe that the ne’er-do-well son would neglect to seek credit for his expected campaign coup from the father whose approval he so obviously craves. And now it seems that Robert Mueller has obtained proof that it is not in fact true. The Trump family lies all the time, of course, but doing it under oath is a crime.

Two days ago, Gabriel Sherman reported that White House officials are concerned about Donald Jr. “I’m very worried about Don Jr.,” a former West Wing official told Sherman, who fears Mueller will be able to prove perjury. Deep in a report about Trump’s 2020 campaign plans, Politico drops the news this morning that Trump Jr. “has told friends in recent weeks that he believes he could be indicted.”

If it’s what you’re saying, we love it.

The details of the expected indictment remain to be seen. But if Trump Jr. did lie under oath, the obvious question is why. He had a lawyer, who presumably informed him of the dangers of perjury. Why take the risk of perjury to deny having informed his father about a meeting with Russian officials if the contacts produced absolutely nothing?

********

Please let this be true.

Please don't stress out now. Tell me the name and your best memory of a pet that you have had ....

... or still have.

1) Caesar .... Golden Retriever I was about 13 and the older boys would ask if I
wanted to go hunting w/them and BTW can you bring your dog too?

2) Mac... Yellow Lab about 100 LBS ...used to pull me on my cross country skis one time he
and I were on an icy road and I couldn't stop and he ran for about 1/4 of a mile.

3) Flubie .... black lab ..... when I took my son to the kennel and told him we couldn't get
a dog now but at the last minute I told him to go and talk to Sally about looking at picking out a pup.
He was 11 and started to cry and then when all the pups were out he waited across the lawn
and when the first pup got to him he said "that is the one."

Help me

I'm sitting at a bar and the guy next to me just told me that he had a hard time figuring out who the Republican who were running for judges were because he always votes GOP. Btw he has some medical issues, gets some government help, and he gets his news from Fox.

Good God in BUTTER what is the matter w/ people?

Btw as a kid I used to live next door to the Republican Governor of PA's brother and Gov. Ray Shafer was as fine of man as you would ever meet. And he was a Republican too.

Words from President Obama

If you're mad at politicians trying to take us back to the days of health insurers denying people with pre-existing conditions of care ... Vote.

If you're sick of politicians giving huge tax cuts to billionaires, only to tell you we have no choice but to slash Medicare and Social Security ... Vote.

If you're upset with politicians denying basic climate science as our communities continue to pay a steeper and steeper price ... Vote.

If you're outraged by politicians refusing to pass common-sense gun laws in the face of a tragic epidemic ... Vote.

If you're frustrated with politicians failing to adequately stand up for the rights of immigrants, or women, or LGBTQ Americans ... Vote. Vote. Vote.

Vote like our democracy depends on it, Tom. Make a commitment right now to get to the polls -- and get involved in these final 5 days.

Thank you,

Barack Obama

(not only a great President but he remembered my name too)
