Most pure geniuses had dyslexia and didn't always do too well in school.

I imagine these kids have high IQ, but geniuses? That takes being dyslexic and thus grounded in 'form' not 'language'.

In regards to dynamic scoring the republicans want at the Congressional

Budget Office, my understanding of 'dynamic reasoning' is that you have to study the past in order to come up with processes into the future. So where is the past example of trickle down economics actually working GOPers? Because one cannot call it dynamic, or make certain assumptions, if it ignores the past track record.

9 signs the Kochs have created their own national political party

9 signs the Kochs have created their own national political party

by Steven Rosenfeld at Salon

"SNIP..................

The Koch Party is not as large as the Democrats or the Republicans, but is still unprecedented in size, scope and reach. Like other political parties, it has a platform, donors and constituents, electoral and advertising strategies, voter data, and—after the 2014 midterms—members of Congress ready to shepherd its pro-corporate, anti-regulatory agenda.

But unlike the Democrats and Republicans, the Koch Party is not public. It doesn’t have national political conventions attended by the media and delegates. Instead it has secretive getaways for mega-millionaires and billionaires in posh gated resorts where the public and press are neither invited nor allowed.

If you want to see how super-wealthy citizens and private corporations are using private money and secretive tactics to gain and consolidate their power and influence, pushing agendas that often prey on middle- and working-class Americans—look no further. Here are nine hallmarks of the Koch Party.

1. America’s third-biggest political operation: Last June, the Washington Post compared the number of employees at Americans for Prosperity, the best-known Koch-funded group, to the Democratic and Republican Parties. The Post noted that AFP had 240 employees in 32 states, compared to 250 field staffers for Republicans (and another 150 at the GOP’s national headquarters), while the Democrats said they would have 4,000 campaign staffers nationwide. It turns out that the Post vastly underestimated AFP’s size; Politico.com recently reported that AFO had 550 paid staff and spent $130 million in 2014.

When issues pretty much settled in the democratic party, like women's rights or

being against racism suddenly erupt into mayhem and hate talk...there is likely more than one paid troll behind it purposefully making the DU an unpleasant place for women and men, and all. To think the GOP does not care about the DU or democratic presence online is silly.

There was an article on cults at Business

Insider a few months back. I‘ve gone back to look for it but can‘t find it. It said basically that cult followers have their aspirations and grievances met by the cult leader.

Here is my take: for sure Germans were all upset they lost WWI and then faced inflation. So they were vulnerable to these grievances. And then Hitler comes along and fulfills all their dreams of power. So people who were losers became instant winners and very powerful when they joined the Nazis. They suddenly felt self actualized. Theirs lives had meaning so long as they bought into Hitler. And if they ever were to think that Hitler was bad, then they would have to admit they were chumps. People who signed onto the nazi way were told they were exceptionally smart or exceptionally powerful or exceptionally virtuous. These were secret adolescent daydreams of the people fulfilled. And given the lifestyle of a star and constant feedback. And their egos grew and they scapegoated all those who didn't sign on. And those that didn't join the cult were considered exceptionally wak and stupid and evil. And the cult followers were given jobs based on loyalty not qualifications, while jobs were taken away from those who did not adequately revere Hitler. And who, who has a very important dream role in their country, wants to go back to being a loser/chump and unemployed if they acknowledge to themselves that the jews were being scapegoated and their power and prestige was all a sham? The choice ends up being a black or white one. The shades of grey in Germany were all gone pretty soon.

These are conservative sockpuppets

pretending they belong here. It was the same when women‘s rights was baited. Femminism is a pretty settled issue on the left. Women should be treated as equals. Now the powers that be are under scrutiny for how they police black youth and here come the GOP race baitors to stir up anxiety, fear and hatred when the people of the DU pretty much agree that policing needs to change and a discussion needs to take place. I hope you get that yhe GOP are scared because the police are part of their coalition and a good discussion between african americans and the police and powers that be might threaten the GOP ‘Southern Strategy‘. This is about power in so many ways. And today African Americans are winning (and then the police and we all win). That is what results from dialogue. I don‘t doubt that more dynamic policing will be the result. So, as to these posters?, they have lost and you are winning. The DU must be doing something right to have garnered such attention. I‘m sorry their panic has taken the shape of such vile and discusting thoughts. These trolls know exactly how dispicable they are acting. But they‘ve sold themselves for money and don‘t care who it hurts. It is the panic of morons who have no idea how to build a great country.

I am a firm believer that government should make

all sorts of policy that enable different kinds of people thrive, even if said policy works at cross purposes often. What is evil to me is government that tries to force people to follow a single script and live a single kind of life that benefits only a narrow group of people. That is not freedom. That is slavery. I am less concerned with Democrats being for the TPP, if they are also for better education and sober but adequate social programs, than GOP trying to make everyone good corporate monkies living a life that benefits mostly corporations. Evil is when everyone has to be of one mind unless the powers that be get very upset they are not adored and adorned and attack.

I thought the last paragraph was

important in the outake. The idea that backing torture would make people ‘all in‘. Isn‘t that what Hitler did with the final solution.....Nazis had no choice but to fight as Nazis to the very death. Turning millions into monsters. There would be no going back. I wonder if Cheney had that in mind.

May this divide between tea partiers and other republicans

is why all of a sudden Republicans claim "I'm not a scientist" when asked the question, as a way to avoid answering and coming down on one side or the other. An anti-wedge.

So the GOP finally faces a 'Sophie's Choice' from the Democrats. After the GOP shoving Sophie's

Choices (a choice where your life is diminished no matter what you decide) in the faces of Democrats for more than a decade like a psychopaths would, Obama gives the GOP a choice: support his immigration reform or denounce it.

No wonder Michelle Bachman says the GOP will remain silent on the issue. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/11/22/Michelle%20Bachmann-GOP-Will-Not-Resist-Obama-Executive-Amnesty

I seem to have picked up a lot of conservative stories today from reddit. I guess the GOP never lets the perpetual campaign ebb, not even on thanksgiving weekend.
