How do I delete my account?

Obviously there is a concerted effort to ignore my posts, unless of course the replies are mostly inflammatory. A very popular member here once told me that there are groups of "insiders" who actively organize smear campaigns on various people at various times.

I suspect it is because I had a thread a year ago that had 637 recs. Pretty sure thats more than any non-election related thread ever....

ANd now I can't get one. hmmmm

You may wonder why there aren't more peole with more severe forms of illness in this list. Well, the reasons are many, including shyness due to increased stigma, less ability to function well enough to contribute to society, incapcitation, and institutionalization and wrongful incarceration.

It bares repeating on this forum that the more severly mentally ill are twice as likely to be the victims of violence rather than catylists of it. Given that statstic, one has to wonder how many of the tiny fraction of mentally ill people who wind up doing something violent are simply defending themselves, and/or reacting to serontonin overload brought on by SSRI medications, as well as side effects from other mind and mood altering medications. Based on facts, neither is assuming the killer was mentally ill.

Which is already the assumption of pundits far and wide. It's no different than assuming the killer was a black man before knowing the facts.
And that is one of the reasons why the mentally ill are more likely to be VICTIMS of crime than perpetrators of it. Your normal neighbor is just as likely to kill someone (or many) as a person with a mental illness. But not as likely to be a victim of a violent crime as a person with a mental illness.
Interesting how that works.
