The community organizer organized a community

It has been a long time coming. I remember when Reagan opened his 1980 campaign in Philadelphia, MS and declared states rights and from that point on I despised him. Inevitably, though this is what has killed the republican party but it took 30 years. Reagan also invited the christian right and the seeds of their demise was planted. Even though Clinton was elected the world stayed the same. He attracted many people but he never received 50% of the vote. White people were 87% of the voting population in 1992. Gore and Kerry were terrible candidates and finally someone came along who was young and vibrant and understood and related to a new generation.

Demographics have changed and Axelrod,Plouffe and Messina understood the new technology and the new social media. They built a party and a campaign that spoke to the new people and excited them. It is now 2 elections that they have captured the youth, women, Asians, Hispanics and of course the African Americans(old reliable because that all know the southern republicans still wished Jim Crow still existed). If we get these groups to vote a third time the repubs are done for a long time.

The repubs will be a small regional party. It is truly ironic that the "community organizer"as repubs so derisively called Obama) organized a community for the long haul. Obama wants to be a transformational president. Reagan transformed us into a greedy, non caring selfish country and Obama wants us to care about all. A welcome change.

The North and intelligence are winning. Notice that the repubs have all the states that historically never valued education.

Rove is done- may we never hear from him again

The "genius" didn't deliver. He will never be able to raise money again. He was always overrated. He won one count it one national election.

If there is an Obama landslide he will not declare a mandate

Obama is trying to kill the Reagan evil values. Reagan's values were racism, selfishness, hate the poor and dividing the nation. It finally went full bore with Bush with his questioning of patriotism.
Obama wants to bring back caring, acceptance of everyone and one nation who works together.

As he said he wants to be a transformational president and bring us to a better place and kill the Reagan evil values.

MSM- The crowds aren't as large-

Obama in 2008 was a once in a lifetime phenomena. I wish just one person would ask how does Obama's crowds compare against any other candidate historically. I bet they are still the largest ever.

We are back to Obama's base isn't as motivated

even though all the polls are likely voters we are hearing it again. Likely voters means they are voting MSM
