About those Sunday morning chat shows....

I don't know about you but I am so tired of the right-wing chat shows, David Gregory on MTP, Schaefer with Face the Nation and George Steph on whatever his shows name is, I forget for the moment. Their guests are almost always repubs and it's time for that to stop. I'm not sure what we can do other than write, e-mail and just annoy them constantly but it's time for the George Wills, Peggy Noonans, Cokie Roberts and the rest of the right-wing spewers to be replaced.

The President has won his second election, the Democrats are the leading party of the land, it is definitely time for them to have command of the memes or whatever else you want to call it. I'd go one step further and get rid of Gregory, replace with Maddow or some other Dem who knows how to conduct a conversation on those points of interest to us...

On MoJoe they were discussing vetting candidates better, etc. and what could they do to make

the repubs more appealing. Ridding themselves of Grover Norquist and Rove would be a great start. What has Grover contributed except hate and divisiveness, always thinking he's smarter than the other guy. Karl is just plain "out of the loop" with his "numbers" schtick, etc. These two should be shown the door, asap.

"The Grapes of Wrath" and then "The Great Gatsby" both on TCM. Thought it was appropriate

considering it's election eve, two perspectives if you know what I mean...LOL.

My future daughter-in-law called from Brick, NJ and they finally got power. She is a nurse and

worked a 36 hour shift, son works for Verizon and was sent home the first day, now working 12 hour shifts. They had some limbs fall but that's about it. They went into Manasquan as far as they could get and the devestation was so bad, she started to cry and they left. Boats sitting in the roadway, our old restaurant and bar is damaged from water, have no idea what all was lost. Manasquan is between Pt. Pleasant and Sea Girt/Spring Lake. Porches were taken off of beachfront homes. I doubt they will be able to re-build and zoning will be changed. The insurance companies are no longer going to pay to rebuild on these places and I think that's a good thing. So glad they now have power and heat.

The jobs number next month will be so excellent. Out of the horror of Sandy will be more jobs than

you can shake a stick at with all of the re-building and repair going on. Plumbers, electricians, every type of work imaginable will be happening. This is the one good thing that has come out of this nightmare.

The insufferable Tom Brokow is on Joe Scarborough and he is trying, so hard, but he is not

happy with the numbers. I'm at the computer and not directly watching but can tell he is starting to voice his doubt about Romney's chances. I'm so enjoying this.

This Sunday evening on National Geographic the movie about getting Bin Laden will air. This will be

a nice finish off of the Obama campaign and cannot wait to see it. Nine o'clock I believe..

About the President being on the Morning Joe show on Monday. I'm speculating of course:

This is the beginning of the MSM or at the very least, Joe, Mika and crew starting to slant towards the re-election of the President. The numbers do not lie and they all know it. MJ pretty much sets the tone for MSNBC for most of the daily shows, sanity returns with Bashir. I'm thinking, in order to save face, Joe and crew will start to talk up President Obama and board the Obama train. I could be way off, but Joe does like being a "winner" and I'm thinking even he knows, as do his bosses, the numbers do not lie. The President will be re-elected and they want to be on the "winning team" of journalists. Whatcha all think?
