Mark Wahlberg is seeking a pardon from the state of Massachusetts for an assault he committed in 1988 that left a man blind in one eye
Wahlberg, now 43, served 45 days in prison and was tried as an adult even though he was just 16 years old at the time
Documents show he called one of his victims a 'Vietnam f***ing s***' and that he later chased a group of black children, shouting: 'Kill the n*****!'
The actor, who has always been vocal about his troubled past, is now a married father who attends church every day

Documents included in his pardon request show he called the Vietnamese immigrant a 'Vietnam f***ing s***' before striking him so hard that the stick broke in two and knocked Lam unconscious, according to the documents shared by The Smoking Gun.
He then fled the scene and approached a second man, Hoa Trinh, put his arm around his shoulder and asked him to help him hide.
But once police passed, Wahlberg hit him, leaving him blind in one eye.
When Boston cops tracked Wahlberg down and took him back back to the scene of the assault outside a convenience store in Dorchester, he told officers: 'You don't have to let him identify me, I'll tell you now that's the motherf***** whose head I split open', the documents show.
Authorities wrote that he also made 'numerous unsolicited racial statements about 'gooks' and "slant-eyed gooks".'
In his plea, Wahlberg said that he was under the influence of alcohol and drugs at the time.
'From later accounts of the incident, it is my understanding that I may have caused serious injuries' to the men, he wrote.
Other documents show that, in an earlier attack in Dorchester, he and two friends saw a group of black siblings and chased them.

The video, published last Wednesday, shows Corpus Christi Senior Officer Jerry Lockhart and Witherspoon questioning Lanessa Espinosa in a Whataburger parking lot after a fight in August.
The officers ask Espinosa to produce an ID and stop recording while they investigate the scene of the late-night fight.
After declining to provide an ID, Witherspoon places Espinosa in a choke hold while she turns the camera to show her face.
A statement released Monday by the Corpus Christi Police Department said that Lockhart first questioned Espinosa because she was believed to be involved in the fight, not because she was videotaping.
"Ms. Espinosa was restrained by the off-duty NCDA officer and detained by Officer Lockhart for 'Interference with Public Duties,'" the statement said. "The detention was based on the incident (that she had been involved in the fight, which she admitted), and not due to the fact that Ms. Espinosa was videotaping the officers."
Espinosa uploaded three videos of the incident to YouTube on Wednesday. The video showing Witherspoon placing her in the choke hold has garnered more than 137,000 views.

He praised the officer, Daniel Pantaleo, as a good man, a mature policeman and an Eagle Scout who "went out and did a difficult job, a job where there's no script, and sometimes with that there's tragedy that comes."
"It's also a tragedy for this police officer who has to live with that death," Lynch said.
He also praised New York police for their handling of protests on Wednesday night, when thousands who objected to the decision took to the streets. Lynch lashed out at Mayor Bill de Blasio, who said on Wednesday that the grand jury's decision not to bring charges was "one that many in our city did not want."
He suggested that the mayor was teaching children to fear police officers, and he said the lesson instead should be to comply with police officers, even if they feel an arrest is unjust.
"You cannot resist arrest," Lynch said. "Because resisting arrest leads to confrontation. Confrontation leads to tragedy."

It doesn’t get any better the more you view it.
In fact, it gets worse; a horrifying state-sponsored snuff movie playing out on the streets of New York.
Let’s not mince words; the NYPD unlawfully killed Eric Garner. No ifs, no buts, no mealy-mouthed excuses. They took an unarmed black man flogging dodgy cigarettes, bundled him to the ground and brutally choked him to death.
Repeatedly, he cried out: ‘I can’t breathe.’
Repeatedly, the swarm of police officers grappling with him ignored those pleas.o
Repeatedly, Daniel Pantaleo, the officer with his burly arm clamped tight around Garner’s neck, refused to loosen his grip.
And so Eric Garner died.
The cause of his death is incontrovertible; homicide

Five deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in Ohio are under investigation for allegedly sending racist text messages.
Two officers, Capt. Thomas Flanders and Detective Michael Sollenberger, have been placed on paid administrative leave while the other three – who are as yet unnamed – remain on the job while the investigation continues.
The accusations came to light after an anonymous source passed on hundreds of pages of the messages

Qatar case against the Huangs rested on suspicion regarding multiracial adoption
The case took on added significance as the State Department repeatedly expressed its concern about the fairness of the prosecution, which originally charged the Huangs with murder in the death of their 8-year-old daughter, Gloria, in January 2013, and had suggested that the Huangs were child traffickers.
The prosecution had argued that the Huangs had killed Gloria by denying her food. The Huangs said she had an eating disorder, a vestige of her impoverished upbringing in Africa. A precise cause of death was never established.
The case laid bare some ingrained prejudices in Qatar about adoption and multiracial families. Part of the original prosecution argument rested on suspicion that the Huangs, who are of Asian descent, could not have possibly adopted a black African girl and must have been seeking to sell her or her organs.

KALAMAZOO, MI -- On the advice of his attorney the owner of a car pictured in a viral YouTube video showing various driving infractions said he will not talk to authorities, Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday afternoon.
"We contacted the registered owner and he said: 'My attorney has advised me not to talk to the police,' Undersheriff Pali Matyas said. "I think he saw all the media buzz and contacted an attorney before we could get to him."
Matyas noted that he had seen that the owner of the car called a reporter "and said that he was deeply embarrassed by the situation and guaranteed that it would not happen again.
"Nice," Matyas said, " but we are still investigating."
"Often, the attorney will contact us and bring their client in for an interview," he said. He did not reveal other details of how the investigation will proceed.
A 23-minute video collage of what appears to be the same driver running red lights, using left turn lanes to cut off advancing traffic, and committing other traffic offenses was posted to YouTube. The creator of the video is not identified, and efforts to contact that person have not been successful.
