The hospital also released statement to NBC saying it 'deeply apologized' for offending anyone and added that it was 'committed to diversity'.
And continued: 'Going forward, we are developing more appropriate materials that are more representative of our workforce and the communities we serve.

Old and poor: An especially bad combination in this Arizona county

When 79-year-old Delilah Zipse slipped and fell in her trailer home, she didn’t call anyone.

Splayed on her bathroom floor, she couldn’t reach the phone. But even after more than an hour passed and she managed to prop herself up against the toilet, she decided not to bother any of her neighbors.

They had their own problems. Jim had also taken some falls. Reba was going blind. Dick recently developed asthma.

“We’re left out in no-man’s land,” said Zipse, who eventually dragged her badly bruised body back to her favorite chair and turned on the television. “There’s nobody here and nobody coming.”

In other Arizona counties, they would enjoy services including subsidized housing, food deliveries, rides to medical appointments and basic nursing care not covered by Medicare.

But in La Paz, they are largely left to fend for themselves. They live in nearly abandoned communities accessible only by dirt roads, places with names like Bouse, Utting and Hope that on some maps are labeled as ghost towns.

Presidential candidate's son toiled for aggressive vanity press.





The younger Trump worked as "executive vice president of global branding" for Cambridge Who's Who, a New York company run by a man named Randy Narod, whom the Times describes as "a Long Island, N.Y., nightclub and bagel store owner barred from the securities industry for having had an impostor take his licensing exam."

Although Cambridge Who's Who was not owned by the Trumps, the Times says that after the younger Trump began working there in 2010, the Times says Cambridge benefited from the Trump name.

One person who Cambridge marketed its services to was a retired Oregon schoolteacher.


In Oregon, Phyllis Fread was in her 80s, dealing with Parkinson’s disease and had been retired from teaching for almost two decades when Cambridge started calling her at home, where she lived alone. Cambridge salespeople telephoned Ms. Fread — who did not use the internet — 42 times trying to sell her networking services, a website and other products she did not need, according to an investigation by the Oregon attorney general’s office.

Over a two-year period, Cambridge charged her $14,593 for a video biography, calendars, a plaque and other items, including a news release in June 2010 titled “Phyllis J. Fread Reveals Her Secret to a Long Career in Education.” The release included a mention of Donald Trump Jr., saying he “was eager to share his extensive experience” with Cambridge clients.

Trump's Scottish neighbors taunt him with Mexican flags

half-dozen of Donald Trump's Scottish neighbors taunted him on Saturday by flying Mexican flags for his visit, but the famed real estate developer chalked it up to sour grapes.
The flags flapped in the Aberdeenshire wind before Trump landed on the 10th fairway of his International Golf Links, and photographers snapped pictures of flag after flag, including one hung beneath Scotland's own colors, seemingly mocking the billionaire.
Trump has made a rhetorical enemy of America's southern neighbor, blaming its government for sending 'rapists' and 'murderers' into the U.S. along with a wave of illicit drugs and illegal immigrants.
But on Saturday he said the silent protests had to do with his success in zoning the property to build a golf course that obstructs their view of the North Sea.

In this area this is a very, very contentious zoning approval, you know, to get this done,' Trump explained. 'In fact when I bought the land, everybody said it would be impossible to get it zoned. So I got it zoned.'
'That's what I do,' he said. 'I'm very good at getting things zoned.'

Without apparent irony Trump calls Clinton a "world class liar"

n a speech this week in which he called his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, a "world-class liar," Donald Trump lied.

Repeatedly.

We'd list all these lies, but our space here is limited. So, based on the level of absurdity, we've curated some of his greatest hits.

1) Trump claimed to be a self-made success, saying he started out "with a small loan and built a business worth over $10 billion." In fact, it was a princely $1 million loan from his father and an inherited company with property holdings all over New York City. Details.

2) He argued Clinton is weak on foreign policy, citing the Benghazi attack in which Ambassador Chris Stevens "was left helpless to die, as Hillary Clinton soundly slept in her bed." In fact, according to the 11-hour Benghazi hearing last year, Clinton "did not sleep all night." No matter. A "Trump fact" is one that makes the story better.

3) He repeated some of the same false claims he's been called out on before: That our trade deficit with China rose 40 percent during Clinton's time as Secretary of State (it was 12 percent), and that she will "virtually abolish the Second Amendment." Once again, he provides no evidence of either.

5) His most reckless whoppers by far, though, were about Muslims. First, he repeated an erroneous early report that the father of the Orlando shooter was a Taliban supporter, based on what CNN later found was a mistranslation of a YouTube video.

George Will exits the Republican Party over Trump

Conservative columnist George Will has left the Republican Party over its presumptive nomination of Donald Trump.

Will, who writes a column for The Washington Post, spoke about his decision Friday at an event for the Federalist Society in Washington.

“This is not my party,” he told the audience, the news site PJ Media first reported.

Speaking with The Post, Will said that he changed his voter registration from “Republican” to “unaffiliated” several weeks ago, the day after House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) endorsed Trump.

Trump's company tricked investors. Here's how

Donald Trump's claim of huge business success is a cornerstone of his presidential campaign. While his companies’ frequent trips to bankruptcy court are well known, there's another reason people might question his business acumen: One of his most high-profile companies was the first U.S. corporation to be accused of using "pro forma" accounting to exaggerate results and mislead investors.

Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, a once publicly traded company whose shares dropped more than 90% when the firm sought bankruptcy protection, was charged in 2002 by the Securities and Exchange Commission for reporting financial results in a way that made it appear the company was doing better than Wall Street analysts expected due to "operational improvements," the complaint said. But that was a "false and misleading impression" that initially fooled investors into driving the stock price higher, the SEC said.

The case ushered in a series of changes that govern all publicly traded companies over how they must disclose any adjustments to so-called "pro forma" numbers. Using pro forma figures is a common practice where companies strip out any unusual non-recurring gains or losses, claiming it’s a way to show how the core business is actually doing. Companies that use such results are required to detail all of the adjustments that are made.

The SEC’s action against Trump Hotels centered around an Oct. 25, 1999, news release where the company disclosed its quarterly net income and earnings per share. The release stated that the net income figures left out an $81.4 million one-time charge. However, the SEC said that the release made no mention of the fact that the reported numbers included a one-time gain of $17.2 million resulting from the termination of a restaurant lease with the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City. And by revealing the excluded charge, the SEC said the company intentionally misled investors to believe there were no other adjustments.

78 year old dad advertises for conservative wife for son

Last week, 78-year-old Arthur Brooks decided his 48-year-old son had been single too long — so he took matters into his own hands. He did what any crazy father with no sense of boundaries would do: He placed a creepy $900 full-page ad for a wife for his son in a newspaper hundreds of miles away.

“I am looking for a wife who is ready, willing and able to have children as soon as possible," the ad in the Coeur d’Alene Press read.

The notice listed an age range — 34 to 38 — and assorted other demands, including that the woman agree to be a stay-at-home mom and that she be conservative.


“If you voted for Obama or plan to vote for Hillary you are not for me.”

His son Baron, however, had no idea there was a kooky ad campaign on his behalf.

“This is so crazy, I can’t even tell you,” the health food trade broker told the Daily News. “It’s very embarrassing and humiliating.”
