Mom's 84 -- 2nd Moderna shot yesterday has her under the weather today

She said “I feel like shit.” Achy all over.

I warned her yesterday she might feel bad a day or two, and I assured her today it will pass quickly.

I share this to add to the compilation of info here that may be helpful to others.

Asian American and VPs residence attacks: "Otherising" Kamala

It has been puzzling me why there’s this seemingly sudden rise in anti-Asian sentiment.

We know that it started with (the former guy) TFG but in hindsight that start even seems calculated. It coincided with the political campaign where Harris was a contender.
And now it’s escalating as the new administration‘s success escalates.

Just as Obama was connected to Muslims and there was Muslim hate and he was told he didn’t belong we’re seeing similar things happening again as Asian Americans are told the very same thing.

Every time I see Biden with Harris I'm reminded what a good man he is

A lesser man like the former guy would’ve shunned Harris for that embarrassing moment in the debate.

Joe Biden did the opposite.

He had a wide field to choose from.

His choice set an example of decency for the world.

I love him for that.

For 4 years a man who ADMITTED he grabbed women by the p-*%y was given a pass—he left office with 43 accusers documented in a book. His porn wife’s scandalous photos were criteria for being banned by Facebook. There were crickets from the media.

He was a Republican man.

I awake this morning to “news” that a 6th accuser has come forward against a Democratic Governor. There’s a daily media drumbeat.

Rhetorical question:
How is one ignored almost completely and the other notsomuch?

"Extremist groups" equals RepubliQkkkans

I’m watching yet another “story” about “extremist group” Oath Keepers on CBS Sunday morning.

I’ve seen individual stories on this and other groups but the missing part of the story is that the media will not state the obvious: all of these groups are Republicans.

We know this: there are zero equivalencies with domestic terrorism. There’s no “both sides” on this issue.

Doing individual stories without tying all the loose ends together does an injustice to America.

The third “victim” and the timing of all of this as NY bears down on ** is once again super lucky for the investigated.

If Cuomo’s gone does that affect any required cooperation between NY city and state?

Is this a contrived effort to attack the state that wields prosecutorial power?

Heard on radio that ** blamed high oil prices on Biden at CPAC

Oil prices fell sharply when ** became president and they stayed down for his entire term.

In the six weeks that Biden’s been in office, gas prices have shot up 25% in my area. I paid $40 for a fill up recently when it’s cost about $30 the last four years.

What’s happened over the last six weeks to precipitate this kind of rise?

I paid attention to gas prices his whole term because it smacked of manipulation. Lowered gas prices bolstered the economy—even though the economy still ran into serious trouble, especially right before the first impeachment. I observed prices drop lower when the Khashoggi murder happened and I wondered then if correlating price declines were connected.
