DesertFlower's Journalcommon sense.
if trayvon or anyone was up to something, i.e., burglary, etc. would he pick a rainy night at 7 pm when just about everyone is home? most burglaries take place while people are at work or away.
is zimmerman wearing a wig?
he has a full head of hair, but the crime scene photos show him being bald in the back of his head and not too much hair in the front.
where's FrenchieCat?

I'm the underdog...

...but that's fine by me.
Nothing worth fighting for is ever easy. Our campaign to keep New York the Middle Class Capital of the world is off to an amazing start. In a few brief weeks of campaigning, we have attracted hundreds of volunteers, crowds of New Yorkers at our whistle stops around the five boroughs, and an undeniable buzz that has lead the political establishment to sit up and take notice.
As I write to you, we are a mere 89 Days away from the Primary and 144 days from Election Day. As Yogi Berra might say, "It's getting late early".
I need your help. I need you to be part of this historic campaign. Can you make a contribution today?
Every dollar means another voter we'll be able to contact. In fact, $35 means we can send a letter to 100 citizens. $100 can get us a television advertisement. And if you are a New York City resident, the New York City campaign finance program matches your contribution 6 to 1. So a $175 contribution nets us $1,050!
Some have said that our campaign is trying to make history. Maybe that's true, but most importantly we are trying to make life better for Middle Class New Yorkers and those struggling to make it.
With your help we will do both!
Sincerely,
Anthony

Why Kirsten Gillibrand Could Have it All

Kirsten Gillibrand is currently enjoying a career trajectory comparable to only a select few American politicians in recent memorythe most notable of whom occupies a certain Oval Office shes already being discussed as a viable contender for in 2016.
Just a few years ago, such rumblings would have been unthinkable. When Gov. David Paterson plucked Gillibrand out of relative obscurity to fill the enormous shoes of Hillary Clinton, she had served a mere two years in Congressand had never even run for office prior to getting elected to the House.
