Here is why Trump waited so long to make a statement telling people to ..."Go Home"

Yes, one of the key aspects (in my opinion only) is that Trump was sure he could get away with it. He knew what was going to happen, that is why he sat in front of a television watching the "Insurrection" and sure it would go
as he planned. It explains exactly why he was unwilling to say, ...."Go Home" to the "Insurrectionists"

because......... "He was sure he was going to win this battle.."

That explains it all. Why did he wait so long, and sit in front of the TV not listening to anyone that
urged him to make a statement. Because he was sure he was going to ....WIN!....It ain't complicated.

About the ..."Trump Special Announcement" -- "Trading Cards"

Among "some" Trump supporters, this was the "Final Straw" in my opinion.

This was stupid, inconsiderate, foolish and a waste of everyone's time. Trump posed it as something
important, and it turns out to be an ad for his own special ..."Trading Cards." Of course, Donald Trump
thinks he can get away with ..."with anything at all." but the lead up to this announcement is a
sword in Trump's back for "some" people. Too foolish to ignore, and in the end a "Waste of Time."

...Since Trump is sure he can get away with..."Anything" he will never know how much this has
hurt his reputation. Trump did this as if it were something "special" and it was as special as last
years snow in upper Alaska. Donald Trump is much too stupid to know that this was "very stupid."
He used the media as a "joke" and media executives will never forget it.

...Some Trump supporters will see Trump as a ..."Fool" for the very first time.
Those supporters stuck with him through thick and thin and they expected some kind of ..."Special Announcement."
It was just another ..."Con Job."
....But for some of Trump supporters, it was the last .."Con Job." that he will ever pull on them.

...For the above to happen, this will take .."TIME" Family members will talk to each other about this and some
people will be convinced that Trump is a ... "Total Fool" for the very first time.

Why? Because those family members expected ..."A Special Announcement." not another ..."Con Job" And, of course, Donald Trump doesn't have a clue at all. Trump has conned some of his strongest supporters for the very last time.
