Incredible Variety currently in the Lounge..take a look if you haven't been there lately.

Among the top topics are (in no particular order) Someone is trying to keep another person from being deported; there is a story about feeding crows, a beautiful story about an individual who saved a shark from certain death, and another about model railroads. Also, Max Bruch Violin Concerto #1, Happy Movies, a story about cat's knowing their names, blizzard warning somewhere, and much more.

Trump equals "Family Separations". Punishment for wanting to come to the United States.

There has got to be some other way. What a mean and vicious idea. This is who Trump is. Trump has done this in the past, and will do it now and will separate families in the future. Trump defines "hate and meanness"

The Division in our party kills people. Here's PROOF. This proof is simple:

..Those on our side who voted for Ralph Nader in 2000, voted to kill people. It didn't look that way, but that is the way it turned out. Those Nader votes, elected Bush Jr., and Bush Jr. started a war that killed people. Over 5000 Americans, maybe 200,000 Iraqis.

You want to see the results of war..live and in person?...
...........................Take a look at Senator Tammy Duckworth. ................

.Would Gore have started that war? No one knows.(I believe Gore would not have started a war)

..The divisions in our party elected Donald Trump. If all that voted for "Jill Stein" voted for Hilary Clinton instead, we would have won. The pure thinkers elected Donald Trump. Jill Stein was what prevented Hilary from being elected. Someone in another post just about proved that..(sorry, I couldn't find that one, I tried)..

..You think you are "pure" and won't vote for a moderate, or whoever our party picks, then you are supporting the person who is "Donald Trump" You must vote for our nominee. You might say, I am going to vote for the 3rd party candidate, or you might say, "I am not going to vote this time" then you are supporting Donald Trump. Or the republican replacement.

..You may not see it that way, but your vote for anyone other than our nominee,... is a vote that kills. We must be unified no matter who we nominate. If your candidate does not get the nomination, you must vote for the candidate of the Democratic Party. I will vote for our candidate and send some money no matter who that person is. If you stay home and not vote, or vote for the current "Jill Stein" (the 3rd Party Candidate) then you are voting to kill and elect the republican candidate.

..That is not nice to say. It is mean, ugly, and vicious. You don't like it. But that is the truth.

I want to add just one idea: This is not a game, this is real. "Life and Death" decisions like the "Iraq War" by Bush Jr. We must be united. See Obama quote below.. (post number 8 below)

The election in 2020 will be ugly, very ugly.

...I don't think the republicans will give up the White House without a fight. It will be a vicious fight, that is who they are. We will need our strongest candidate to fight back. While I am obviously for Joe Biden, whoever it is, will be in a fight. If Trump is their candidate (lots of things can happen in 19 months) we will see an ugly and mean contest that will be unique to our national politics. We must win with our strongest candidate. We must be unified behind that candidate. They will be unified behind Trump. If it isn't Trump, they will unify behind their person. And it will be ugly, mean, and vicious. At least that is what I am thinking now. Just needed to say that.

Trump's Approval Ratings. 538, and others..over 2 plus years.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/

You can see adjusted and non adjusted polls at the above link. Over all currently Trump has a disapproval rating of 52 percent and approval of 42 percent. It goes up and down, but if you take a look, Trump consistently over a long period of time has stayed at about 40 percent for at least 2 years. That is give or take a point or two depending on the poll. Also, after 4 months, Trump's disapproval went above 52 percent, and has basically stayed there since then. (His approval at that point was 42 per cent and has stayed there since then)
