Ahead of Election Day 2020 (have you made your voting plan yet?), the Biden/Harris ticket is headed to Fortnite. In a new custom map, called "Build Back Better with Biden" and located in "Reboot City," players can complete a solo adventure roughly 20-30 minutes long, designed to promote awareness of the candidates' economic recovery plan.
"With voting underway and days until Election Day, we are continuing to meet people everywhere they are online and offline with innovative and thoughtful activations," explained Christian Tom, director of digital partnerships for the Biden/Harris campaign, in a statement provided to Mashable.
"We designed the custom 'Build Back Better with Biden' Fortnite map to do just that engaging players in a substantive, approachable, and fun way to reach and mobilize voters."
The Biden/Harris Fortnite takeover comes after the campaign's Animal Crossing: New Horizons outreach, as well as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's wildly successful Among Us livestream.

Actress Kerry Washington turns up for Michigan Sen. Gary Peters in new radio ad
Kerry Washington, the award-winning star of Little Fires Everywhere and Scandal, is lending her voice in a new radio ad in support of Peters, a first-term Democrat who is up for re-election against conservative political outsider John James.
The ad, released Friday, finds Washington channeling her Scandal character, who is based on Judy Smith, the show's co-producer and former deputy press secretary to George H.W. Bush.
Hey, Michigan, it's Kerry Washington. This election season, people keep saying to me: 'Olivia Pope, please help us save the day but I want to tell you a secret, Washington teases. You have more power than Olivia Pope because you have the power to vote for a better Michigan. And that means reelecting my friend, Senator Peters.

On Thursday, the nations largest police union posted a photo to social media taken during the unrest in Philadelphia this week, where hundreds of protesters clashed with officers over the police killing of Walter Wallace Jr. The Fraternal Order of Polices posts showed a Philadelphia police officer holding a Black toddler clinging to her neck.
This child was lost during the violent riots in Philadelphia, wandering around barefoot in an area that was experiencing complete lawlessness, the union claimed in a tweet and Facebook post that have since been deleted. The only thing this Philadelphia police officer cared about in that moment was protecting this child.
But lawyers for the boys family say that story was a total fabrication.
In fact, they say police yanked the boy from the back seat of an SUV after busting all of the windows and violently arresting and injuring his mother, who was later released without charges.
