So the republicans want to rant from the halls of Congress...
... that they support denying protections for middle class consumers. They would prefer letting the banks, payday lenders and credit card companies continue their unregulated extraction of wealth from middle class consumers.
WE ONLY PROTECT THE 1% is their message.
Republicans you have the floor go for it.
