I was stationed in SC 50 years ago. That is the way it was then! I mistakenly.....

..... thought it would have change by now.. 50 years later. Sadly it has not. If I never cross the Mason-Dixon line again that will be to soon and just fine with me. I guess some of us are born to be "damn yankees" some are born or raised to be racists.

Sadly they are purposely NOT listening.

GOP Congress members are shutting off their phone, not retuning calls, not going to town hall meetings, sending aides to meetings rather than attending themselves, saying that they fear for their safety (Democrats remember tea party), saying the protester are bused in and paid. When they do arrange town hall meeting, they either don't show up, leave early setup the meetings last minute or have by invitation only meetings.

THEY ARE NOT LISTENING!
THEY DO NOT CARE.
THEY FEEL THEY ARE IN SECURE SEATS.

SO THE MESSAGE FROM THEM IS... F U!

If the GOP were smart they would pass a resolution that said

1. From this point forward the term Obamacare will never be used again in any congressional speeches or legislation or in TV interviews

2. From this point forward we will work with the other side of the isle to fix the problems in the Affordable Care Act.

Obamacare would be history and the ACA would get fixed to insure that 20 million enrollees would not lose their healthcare.

With Fox news on board the Republicans could make it work.

Otherwise they are...... shall we say screwed. Their voters are catching on with the fact that they have been lied to. And they are not happy. And the resistance will continue to grow. The town hall resistance is real. Even the GOP base know that the ACA (Obamacare) is better than what the GOP says it will deliver. 8 years plus and bupkis, nothing, not a single word of real reform.

Several points re Justice Ginsberg

1. She is a wonderful Supreme Court Justice. Her stands have made America better.

2. Having said that she should have left immediately after Obama was re-elected to his second term. Giving him a chance to fill her seat with a younger justice.

3. I would hope she can stay until the court gets balanced again. But that would remain long shot statistically.

4. Praying she lives to be at least 100. And continues to have a sharp mind.

5. Finally democrats should block all Trump nominees until Merrick Garland gets his hearing and vote. President Obama's SCOTUS seat was stolen by McConnell and the GOP.

How could Pence be legitimate IF the Russians hack the voting?

It was the Trump-Pence ticket. Pence was either riding the coattails of Trump. OR is "fruit of the poison tree". Pence would not be in the line of succession if Trump had not been elected. Ryan on the other hand I don't have a guess?
