If you are going to head north on I95,

you better go now. If there is a shower near Manning in SC, it will be shut down. It could be shut down in the entire state.
You can look for alternate routes if you are stuck on it, but good luck. There ain't none. Look at a map. You are going to get off on secondary roads or worse. People are nice in general but you might run into anything from Miss Hospitality to PeeWee Gaskins.

I learned something while I was in line at the bank. The two mooks behind me started talking about the weather. At first, they were just making general observations about the flooding and Harvey.

Then one of them said, "The sun is getting closer to the earth." I just thought ok so far. Then he said that the sun was gonna run right into us before long.

I looked at my feet and thought "Good lawd."
I almost turned around and asked him for a donation since we were gonna be fried to a crisp soon.
