She is a propagandist, and not even a good one
First she describes the current situation as a "settler/colonial reality/project" while talking about Christmas and Christians, who, as everyone knows were Jews living in their homeland 2000 years ago. I guess the irony completely escapes her. At the time her Arab ancestors had not conquered the middle east yet and still resided in the arabian peninsula.
Then she claims that the "settler/colonial project" wants to destroy Palestinian nationalism, that's just a lie.
Then she lied about the peel commission and balfour stating that it was designed to erase the Palestinians, when in reality both plans gave a great deal of land to the local Arab population. She also completely ignores the fact that the Arabs rejected partition and launched a war of genocide against the nascent Jewish state.
Her rant about how democrats and republicans hold the same views re borders, J'lem and Security Council support is also a lie, and ignores the completely over the top attention Israel gets in the UN.
Whether the Geneva Convention article 4 applies to the occupied territories is open for debate, but a real violation of geneva 4 article 49 is happening right now in Cyprus, and she has nothing to say about what Turkey is doing.
She apparently even objects to defensive measures taken by Israel to contain terrorism like the security fence, and blames both American parties, including PBO for shielding the Israelis from UN sanctions.
She also supports "lawfare" over negotiations, and places a lot of blame on the Palestinian leadership for "not resisting", what she won't say out loud however, is for her the endgame is the elimination of Israel, not a sovereign Palestinian state, that's what she is implying when she said the Palestinian leaders have chosen sovereignty over freedom.
ASUs Down syndrome class is working out
Top 40 hits blast from the speakers as Haley Santiago and Larry Merville pass a basketball back and forth across the wooden floor of a basement workout room at the Lincoln Family YMCA on ASU’s Downtown Phoenix campus.
They finish the set and Santiago asks, “How’d that feel?”
“Good!” Merville replies, giving her a high five.
Off in a corner, Trevor Weinstock kneels at the feet of Marcus SanTellan, holding his red and black adidas sneakers against the floor as SanTellan lifts his torso up toward his legs, then lowers it back down to the ground.
“C’mon Marcus, you got this,” Weinstock tells him.
On the surface, this scene seems like any other afternoon at the Y — except that Santiago and Weinstock are College of Health Solutions students at Arizona State University and Merville and SanTellan have Down syndrome.
The class is part of ASU Clinical Assistant Professor Simon Holzapfel’s Exercise Program for Adults with Down Syndrome, or ExDS for short.
Holzapfel said he created the free program, which officially launched in August, because there was a need among the Down syndrome community.
“Adults with Down syndrome are usually very inactive, and on average they don’t engage in enough physical activity compared to what is recommended … and they’re also at a very high risk for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease as they age,” he said. “So through physical activity, we hope to at least delay some of those age-related declines.”

History behind WWIIs great unsung female codebreaker is finally unravelled
Even as the United States fought the Axis Powers in Europe, Africa and Asia during World War II, a new threat emerged at home — this time from a Nazi spy ring operating out of South America.
The cell sought to conduct both political and military operations as they worked to sway the politically-neutral continent towards the Germans, while reporting on Allied ship movements, putting vessels at risk of destruction by German U-boats.
J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI had no answer for the ring. But Elizebeth Smith Friedman did.
Working for the Coast Guard under the Treasury Department, the veteran codebreaker (whose Jewish-American husband, William Friedman, was himself a legendary name in intelligence history) had honed her skills battling Prohibition-era smugglers — who, it turned out, had used codes similar to those employed by the Nazi spies.
Friedman not only cracked the Nazi codes, she helped bring down the spy ring. In January 1944, Nazi isolation from South America was complete when Argentina broke off relations with the Axis.
Yet for decades, this story — and the woman behind it — were lost to history.
Now, a new book, “The Woman Who Smashed Codes: A True Story of Love, Spies, and the Unlikely Heroine Who Outwitted America’s Enemies” by Jason Fagone, aims to correct this oversight.
It comes on the heels of the 2014 movie “The Imitation Game” — about Friedman’s British codebreaking contemporary, Alan Turing — and this year’s film “Hidden Figures,” about African-American women in the space industry who were also ignored by history.
“You go back and look at public sources, and women are there,” Fagone said. “They’ve been there all along. They were omitted from the story when the story got told by men, sometimes even outright erased. Elizebeth and her WWII heroics were papered over by J. Edgar Hoover. All the while, Hoover claimed credit for what Elizebeth and her team were doing.”
