Help me find a post......

I read it earlier today. The post showed a baby being held, he had such a look on his face and in the balloon it said "my mommy's a lesbian. Which one?"

I want to email it to my good friend who became a grandmother today, via her daughter and her wife. She had a 7 lb. 10 oz. baby boy. We're all ecstatic with joy.

My 83 year old mother is no longer.................

83. She turns 84 today, April 2. A good year for her. Just two health issues, she had a new defibrillator installed. The old one's battery were dead. She was also diagnosed with macular degeneration. She is getting injections into one eye. One eye is wet macular and the other is dry macular. But she's still reading, I get her large print books from the library.

She lives with me and we do argue not often, and I say it's good for the soul. I had a problem with my 3 brothers as they were not helping out with mom. I told them just take her out one day a month, a cup of coffee or just a ride, even stop by, she'll feed them. One brother has stepped up to the plate on this. One brother does stop by, usually when I'm not home, the other he calls a few times a week.

I think the arguments we've had, has been my frustration with my brothers and their lack of support for me. I've got mom in a safe place, a high rise condo, no stairs 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a porch that overlooks a hill alive with nature, rabbits, squirrels, turkeys, deer, and an owl. The neighbors are great and if I'm not home, I know that neighbors will check in. I think that is why my brothers have done nothing until I called them out on it. They know she's in a safe place and I'm around, but they don't know how hard it can be.
