Twitter videos

It used to be that I could play them all right in the DU thread.

Now I sometimes see a message like "medium could not be displayed" in a video sized blue box. If I click on the text of the tweet, it will take me to Twitter where I can watch the video.

Sometimes the video plays in the DU thread.

There doesn't seem to be any way to tell in advance what will happen. This started a couple few weeks ago.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

You must be feeling just a bit squeezed these days between the threat of Russian invasion and the extortion of the American so-called pResident who is demanding that you assist in internal American election politics. It sounds like a frightening place to be, but may I offer a suggestion on how to get out of the worst of it?

Release the recording of the phone call you undoubtedly made and possess. There are several ways to do it:

1. Brash & Bold method: Call a news conference, announce that you are going to release it, and tell the world the website where they can download their own copy.

2. Sneaky But Safer method: Send a recording of it in a diplomatic bag to your embassies in the UK, the US, Canada, France, Germany, and/or Australia. Any of these countries would be good places.

Then, once your embassies have their copies, have them pass them along to major news outlets in their respective countries. TV and newspapers will jump for the opportunity to run the conversation(s) in their entirety.


Yes, this would be a bit scary. Releasing the recordings would go a long way toward getting rid of the difficult and frankly criminal US president who put you in this situation, but it would weaken Putin at the same time. Western public sentiment is with you. This is your time to strike a blow against the criminal syndicates trying to dominate you. This is your time to stand tall, brave, and strong.

Just around 6:30, there was an incredible noise over Vegas that traveled over my house. The last time I heard something like it was at an air show with the Blue Angels.

I checked a couple TV news stations, but nothing yet.

Did anyone else hear it? What was going on?

Upsurge in roboscam calls lately

I have been getting a sudden rise in the number of scam calls lately. I haven't been answering numbers I don't know. I block numbers that call repeatedly. But, for the past 2 weeks, I have been getting a lot more calls.

After getting 14 calls in one day between 10am and 8pm, I have been shutting my phone off during the day. Every other day that week I have had only 10 - 12 scam calls per day.

I looked into getting Nomorobo for cell phone. Does it really cost $1.99 a month? If you have Nomorobo for cells, does it work well? Do you like it?

I'm about to go crazy. This morning I got 2 spam/scam calls while I was composing a text for my husband.
