UCmeNdc's JournalNancy Pelosi: Families Of Benghazi Victims Have Asked Us Not To Launch New Committee
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the families of victims of the 2012 Benghazi, Libya, attack have reached out to lawmakers to ask them not to launch another probe into the incident.
"Two of their families have called us and said, 'Please don't take us down this path again,'" Pelosi said during her weekly press conference. "It's really hard for them. It's very sad."
Rep. Louise Slaughter's (D-N.Y.) office confirmed that a family member from the maternal side of Tyrone Woods' family called on Thursday to express support for the congresswoman's position on the issue, which is that another probe is not necessary. Woods was one of the CIA contractors killed in the attack. A Democratic aide said another family also has reached out to Democrats.

Boehner Dodges Questions About Fundraising Off Benghazi
Republicans are shamefully using the death of four Americans to make money. House Speaker John Boehner dodged and weaved when confronted with this.
Asked three times about the propriety of the partys campaign arm fundraising off the select committee created to investigate the death of four Americans, Boehner repeated different variations of the same line.
Our focus is on getting the answers to those families who lost their loved ones, Boehner (R-Ohio) told reporters in the Capitol. Period.
Asked again if it is proper for the National Republican Congressional Committee to use this committee money, Boehner said, Our focus is getting the truth for these four families and for the American people.

Question: Is Republicanism hurting you and your loved ones?
That is the question citizens in the United States are starting to ask each other.
With Republicans holding up economic expansion and jobs by limiting programs designed to eliminate a slow growth economy, plus, many republicans in red states deem medicare expansion is not necessary while many citizens within their jurisdictions go without any form of health care leave many people asking, "Is Republicanism working?"
It seems Republican politicians, with their firm belief in Republicanism, seem fixed on continuing their coarse of actions no matter how destructive these actions are to the citizens that these GOP politicians rule over.
Stephen Colbert ridicules Fox News’s latest hilariously uninformed Benghazi conspiracy
If you follow the news, he began, you know that Benghazi has been blowing up again because of a scandalous new memo linking the Obama Administration directly to things said by members of the Obama Administration.
Fox Newss The Fives Eric Bolling, Colbert continued, has an iron-clad explanation for why they did whatever it is were accusing them of having done after the Benghazi attack.
He then cuts to Bolling, who is saying that theres one more piece to this. Dont forget that [Benghazi] was prior prior to Osama bin Laden being taken down, and the thought was, the discussion was, Is President Obama, going into the reelection, soft on terror or not?
Bolling then interrupts himself, as an off-screen producers informs him of something: What, it was after?
Yes, much after, Dana Perino can be heard saying.
My bad, Bolling said, I take it back.
But a great point, if it were true, Perino added.
Yes, Colbert replied, thats undeniable. A great point, and a fantastic new motto: Fox News: Fair and Balanced. A Great Point If It Were True.
He then wagged his finger at Dana Perino for informing Bolling that he was wrong. He was pulling a passionate, heart-felt conspiracy theory straight out of his ass.

Charlie Crist: ‘Intolerable’ racism and hate for Obama is why I left the GOP
Huffington Post reported that the now-Democratic candidate for governor said, I just couldnt take it anymore in the GOP.
I saw what was happening with the Republican Party, said Crist. Theyre perceived now as being anti-woman, anti-immigrant, anti-minority, anti-gay, anti-education, anti-environment. I just wasnt comfortable.
Ramos countered that Crist only left the Republican Party when it became clear that he was going to lose the race for U.S. Senate to now-Sen. Marco Rubio (R), which Crist denied.
No, I left the Republican Party because the Republican leadership went off the cliff, countered Crist.
He went on to say that he couldnt stay with a party that was so unfriendly to the African-American president. Ill just go there.
Because I was a Republican, I saw the activists and what they were doing, said Crist, and it was intolerable to me
and I saw how the party some of them were treating the African-American president and I couldnt take it anymore. Thats a big part of why I left the party.

GOP and Fox: Where was your ‘outrage and sanctimony’ over Iraq?
Specifically, Stewart pointed to interviews given by then-Vice President Dick Cheney, then-Secretary of State Colin Powell and then-National Security Advisor Condolezza Rice on Sept. 8, 2002 the same day a story planted by the Bush administration ran in the New York Times, allowing them to bring up a non-existent threat of Iraq looking to buy high-quality aluminum tubes that are really only for nuclear weapons programs.
They knew a year in advance that what they were saying on the show that day was not true, Stewart said of the administration officials. Where was the outrage?

Curious About The Biggest Trade Deal In History? Sorry, It’s Classified or
never sign a contract that you cannot read before hand or have enough time to read and understand the terms. I repeat if you cannot understand clearly the terms of the agreement / contract do not sign it.
TPP, as it stands, is classified. The White House can see it. Leaders in negotiating nations can see it. About 600 reps from Americas most powerful corporations can see it.
But the American public is forbidden from perusing the deal, and the people they elect are barred from negotiations. Though Congress will eventually decide its fate, US lawmakers are increasingly frustrated at TPPs intense secrecy. Given the way trade deals work on Capital Hill, they may get precious little time to review the colossal pact before deciding whether to make it law.
The secrecy has even riled up Obamas own political camp.
BANGKOK The Trans-Pacific Partnership sounds deadly boring.
Its not.
The potential impact on humanity from this proposed mega-deal is impossible to measure. TPP could bankrupt families in Kansas and enrich them in Kuala Lumpur. Or make patented medicine wildly unaffordable for sick people in poor places. Or even imprison citizens of 12 countries for pirating Game of Thrones episodes.
Or maybe, as its proponents claim, TPP could plug the US into Asias rising markets and give the global economy a needed jolt. Either way, if secured, it will be a corporation-friendly game changer for 800 million people.
Will the US citizens sign off on a contract they are not allowed to read or fully debate?

Lindsey Graham Says Republicans Risk Getting 'Burned' On Benghazi Issue
It is a political witch hunt.
From HP:
Any attempt by Republicans to embarrass the Obama administration over the deadly Sept. 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, could backfire in the mid-term congressional elections, a Republican U.S. senator warned on Sunday.
Snip......
"If we're playing politics with Benghazi, we'll get burned," Graham said on CBS's "Face the Nation."
