Smoking Gun: Where the Money Goes
http://www.progressive.org/news/2015/12/188476/smoking-gun-where-money-goesEven in the era of Super PACs, pundits watch how much candidates raise for their campaigns. But they often overlook how the money is spent. Campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show that, through September 30, the twenty-one candidates for President collectively made about 45,000 individual expenditures totaling more than $150 million. We looked through the listings and found a few favorites.
Data on campaign expenditures and receipts can be found using the Candidate & Committee Viewer on the Federal Election Commissions Campaign Finance Disclosure Portal.

I had a post hidden today.
I think that makes three since I joined in April, 2010.
The alert said I called another poster a liar when what I actually said was "Your post was total bullshit."
I guess calling out total bullshit is not OK with at least five DU members (alerter and four of seven jurors).
This post just might get hidden as meta. So it goes.

In an editorial board meeting, she added that there are very rare circumstances when an exception to the no torturing rule would be needed, and if they occur, there has to be some lawful authority for pursuing it.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Stands Tall

"There are a lot worse impacts that could be built there right now without any approvals at all," she said, echoing a point made to (T)he Pulp earlier by the town's lawyer, Keith Poliakoff. Wasserman Schultz also referenced that April letter that she wrote, "a cursory letter of support," as she called it. And speaking of Poliakoff, there's strong evidence to suggest that his firm had a heavy hand in drafting an early version of that letter. See Wasserman Schultz's letter from April 8:"
