A poll released to IndyStar by Democrat Thomas McDermott Jr.'s campaign shows that the Senate race against Republican Sen. Todd Young could be closer than expected.

There was a margin of error of 2.62 percentage points.

VP voted...bill passes...it is done folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I am in hospital with a-fib . I had a murmur but update

Was more serious. I feel like crap. I had a clot in my left kidney which hurt. So I went ER. I didn’t know until I got here the situation. So should be controlled by meds. If it isn’t pace maker. Probably if all goes well, a week in hospital…to damned young for this! My daughter is watching Dad still recovering from spinal surgery. What a year!!!!

I had covid my birthday June 22. The symptoms were mild so I didnt go to the doctor. On July 8th I woke up violently ill...awful pain in left lower abdomen, I had felt tired for a while. But had big week with family parties, at the ER they did blood work and an EKG, I was in a fib with a heart rate above 160...fluctuated. I had multiple blood clots in my stomach and one in the left kidney which caused the pain, also pneumonia. They tell you to seek medical care with Covid if it is a bad case. But learn from my mistakes. Get checked out afterward. My cardiologist says all his new a fib cases were people who had recent covid. Some were not as lucky as me and had strokes or heart attacks. I would not be here most likely if I didn't go to the ER and I had two days of headache and nausea with Covid and thought I was fine. I would have had a stroke or heart attack likely on Friday...so be careful. Excuse spelling or any other mistakes still pretty sick and it is hard to type. Stay welll.

We are going to win the midterm/don't listen to some making the media rounds. Poll Included

They don't understand what the end of Roe means for this country. We will vote in overwhelming numbers.

A majority of Americans (57%) think the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was politically motivated and not motivated by the law of the land (36%). The debate over abortion rights will most likely play out on the campaign trail. 62% of registered voters say the Supreme Court’s decision will make them more likely to vote in this year’s midterm elections. Democrats (78%) are more motivated by the decision than Republicans (54%) and independents (53%).Following-Overturn-of-Roe-v.-Wade-sourced-1.jpg Read more.

A Very Short but Necessary Post-"short post but it's in response to some Democratic bashing posts""

This is going to be a very short post but it’s in response to some of the usual Democrat bashing that’s starting to get cranked up around here again, just in time for the midterms. I’m a little bit of a hothead as most people can attest but after reading and commenting on a couple of posts earlier in the day that were replete with the usual “Dems suck, just microscopically less than Republicans” coupled with the inevitable, “People around here who disagree with you are going to irrationally attack you for speaking this profound truth”, comments, I wanted to respond. It’s a weeknight and 4:00am comes early so I couldn’t respond in a manner that I would wish or that some of my many detractors would read but then I ran across Beau’s video for today.

"Guys, this isn’t the time to go all “I demand purity” and “Dems need to work on their ideology” or even “Democrats aren’t above criticism”. No, they are absolutely NOT ABOVE CRITICISM AND NOBODY IS SAYING THAT THEY ARE! I’m arguing that flawed or perfect, we need more Democrats. A few more votes for Hillary Clinton, 5 digits worth in a few states and our SCOTUS would be very liberal for the foreseeable future.
This. Is. Not. The. Time! We have to win and if that means biting our tongues until after the election about all of the warts and imperfections Democrats sport, I think our very literal FREEDOM is worth it!"

2022 Senate map/ I posted this in another thread but it is so important that we look at this

map and understand where the votes for a Democratic Senate Majority will come-from what states...just so you know, it is not an encouraging map. But, it is what it is. And we need to understand that once we lose a Senate seat, we may not get it back for decades or at all.

The video is from Parler...seems to shows Alex Jones and others in the capitol on 1/5/21-

the day before the insurrection discussing how they would stop certifications. What the hell was he doing there? Who let them in?

"Senior lawmakers resolved a major standoff late Saturday night clearing the way for Congress to pass a nearly $1 trillion economic relief package, after Democratic leaders and Sen. Patrick J. Toomey (R-Pa.) struck a compromise over his proposal to rein in the lending powers of the Federal Reserve.

Toomey had created a major impasse last week by demanding new limits on the central bank’s emergency lending authority. His proposal, supported by Republican leadership, threatened the delicate negotiations over the relief package. But after hours of frenzied negotiations and meetings in the Capitol, a compromise between Toomey and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) was brokered around 9:30 p.m., aides in both parties said.

The revised language bars the Federal Reserve from creating precise copies of the lending programs created through the $2 trillion Cares Act passed by Congress. It affirmatively shuts down as of Jan. 1 those programs, which were seeded with a $500 billion appropriation by Congress in March. As congressional negotiators have discussed for weeks, the $429 billion in unspent funds will be redirected to other programs in the new $900 billion bill."
