About not reimbursing our Vets

That Trump's VA says that it can't reimburse the vets that it short-changed, because of computer problems is complete bullshit. I worked in the computer industry for 20 years. I don't know what computer system the VA uses to look-up names, benefits, addresses, and print a check and a mailing envelope, but whatever computer system it is can be reprogrammed to get the job done. What's the big deal? Does the VA not have in-house computer programming expertise? I don't buy that. Does the VA not want to budget the money fix this problem by either in-house talent or subcontracting to a corporate firm, like IBM or Oracle, etc. Now that I can believe.

I highly suspect that every agency of the Trump Admin has been told to cut costs on steroids now that Republicans have screwed the Fed budget with their tax cut for billionaires. What do you think? OK DU corporate computer folks, what's the deal.

Screwing over vets about money benefits == is that not the perfect example of the Trump admin?

Pelosi Opposition

Let me say whole-heartedly that I am a big Pelosi fan. I used to live in San Francisco. She is the most effective Dem leader of the last 50 years, if not longer. Boehner and Ryan cannot hold a candle to her. Effective means that she get stuff accomplishment through a wise use of compromise and consensus building.

Some opposing her may be well-intentioned for change. Some may have their own selfish reasons. But they clearly do not understand the fundamental law of change: Change occurs when their is a critical mass, who agree, "We want this change. This one right here."

Without critical mass, everything else is a process towards a possible outcome, or just so much useless windmill-tilting.

I submit that Pelosi opposers are in the later category.

Do you get the feeling that the Trump-Roberts spat is another distraction?

Trump reads all week about how House seat after House seats flips to Dem, and what a loser he is. And how the Dems are going to nail his ass to the wall. Next Trump reads all the bad press about how he sold America's honor and values about the Kashoggi murder for 30 pieces of silver from the Saudis.

And what is the media talking about now? The Trump-Roberts spat. Is this a distraction?
