The violence and abuse continue to be a topic from those speaking to Walker, but the Heisman trophy winner continues to dismiss it as unimportant.

Speaking to Atlanta based "Rolling Out," an entertainment site, Walker explained it wasn't anything more than a sin.

"You know, he without sin cast the first stone," Walker said, quoting Jesus in John 8 . Walker went on to attack his opponent, Rev. Raphael Warnock for being critical of his "sins" from 15 years ago.

Typically, one's past comes into focus when one runs for political office as a sign of judgment and leadership, and attempted murder is not generally brushed aside in political campaigns as nothing more than an everyday "sin."

Zelensky calls to remove Russia from UN Security Council

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky implored the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday to completely isolate Russia from the global peacekeeping body, as the majority of council members condemned Moscow for land-grabs of Ukrainian territory.

Zelensky addressed the council as Russia carries out referendums in occupied Ukrainian territory, which the U.S. and U.K. have warned are a pretext to Moscow annexing the land and escalating its military offensive in the country.

“No one will be surprised if this room of the U.N. Security Council will be turned into a zone of violence by representatives of Russia,” Zelensky said in video remarks delivered to the council.

“There is only one way to stop this all. First, the complete isolation of Russia in response to everything it does. The state cannot remain a permanent member to the U.N. Security Council with the right of veto, if such a state is waging a genocidal policy right now, keeping the world one step away from a radiation disaster and at the same time keep on threatening with nuclear strikes. Russia should be excluded from all international organizations.”................

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton used his wife as a getaway driver while fleeing his McKinney, Texas, home in an attempt to avoid being served a subpoena related to an abortion lawsuit.

In a sworn affidavit obtained by the Texas Tribune, process server Ernesto Martin Herrera testified that after arriving at Paxton’s home and seeing Paxton through the doorway, Martin Herrera was told by his wife, State Sen. Angela Paxton, that the attorney general “was on the phone” and to leave his card. He then went back to his car and waited.

A little more than an hour later, Paxton exited the house through the garage. “I walked up the driveway approaching Mr. Paxton and called him by his name,” testified Martin Herrera, “as soon as he saw me and heard me call his name out, he turned around and RAN back inside the house through the same door in the garage.”

Around 20 minutes after that, “Angela [Paxton] came out and opened the driver side and rear side door behind the driver of the truck. She then got inside the truck and started it, leaving the rear door behind the driver side open,” Martin Herrera said. He then witnessed the attorney general run “from the door inside the garage towards the rear door behind the driver side.” ...........................................................
