The financial markets are up worldwide, not just the US markets.

I'm not knowledgeable enough (or with a good enough memory) but clearly the Trump presidency is not responsible for the overall rise of the markets.

I agree with changing channel anytime Trump or his apologists come on air.

Jeannine Pirro has especially been out front and center recently.
I guess other Fox personnel have been on vacation, so she must be substituting for some.
She is such a loud-mouth.
I wouldn't want to watch her even if she was on the Dem side.

Re one-time Trump bonuses: Let's start taking names!

I've made it a practice to avoid Republican-supporting businesses when and where possible.
I would avoid Wells Fargo like the plague - they've been noticeably corrupt for a long time.

Unfortunately Fifth Third Bank is too much in my life, due to its huge presence in my area.

She deserved your scorn and wrath, no doubt. However, I find it tough to be

hard on my Trump voting relatives.

I really do love them, despite their poor voting habits, and since they don't seem likely to change, we have wordlessly agreed to disagree.

One, who voted Democratic, lives in a nursing facility, using Medicare and Medicaid. Since this is hitting closer to home, I'm hoping the Trumpites are coming to realize how much we need these safety nets.

Today is Gaudete Sunday, the third Sunday of Advent. Gaudete is the latin word for "rejoice".

On the first two Sundays of Lent the priestly vestments were purple; on Gaudete Sunday the vestments are rose-colored.
Similarly, on the Advent wreath, candles for the first two Sundays were purple, today, Gaudete Sunday, the third candle is rose-colored. The fourth candle will again be purple.

So glad you addressed this- Sexual aggression and assault is obviously a matter of degree.

You seem to have it pegged about right as to some recently highlighted examples.

I understand that Vance now resides in Columbus, Ohio.

He must travel frequently for book interviews, etc.

His appearance on CSPAN's book talk, with Brian Lamb, from Sept. 2016 and rebroadcast a month or so ago was most interesting.

Patrick Kelly from Ireland. (Kelly is the second most popular/common name in Ireland.)

And Patrick is likely more common than John, as St. Patrick is the patron saint of the isle.

You might say "Kelly" is the "Jones" of Ireland.

Not sure why Sherrod Brown (D-OH) is "slightly Democratic".

Josh Mandel (R) is his likely opponent, and not at all an attractive opponent. Shallow and callow.
Brown should show him up quickly and easily in any one-on-one debate.
