"One Last Time" - Tony Bennett, the consummate showman.

Tony Bennett has been a favorite of mine since the mid-1950's - when I was in college.
So we've grown old together.
Age and dementia have caught up with my long-time friend.
Don't you just hope somehow soon we can hear him again live?

At the same time on PBS a 3-hour special - Andrea Boccelli in Central Park - was also enthralling. (I've seen parts of it twice so far on different PBS stations, and will likely see it again once or twice in the next month.) Tony Bennett did a guest spot - sang "New York, New York" with Boccelli.
The Boccelli special must have been filmed pre-Covid in NYC, as there was a huge crowd sitting close to one another outside. And guest Tony Bennett ran on stage and walked tall and straight and strong at the end.

Time can do its damage quickly.

My childhood dog looked like the one shown, though without the white tummy.

His name was Teddy. 1940's era.

I need to get my booster also - I'll get Pfizer as I did twice last Jan.-Feb.

Local news says most places are busy; appts. needed rather than walk-ins.
Last spring I went to an indoor drive-thru at University Hospital.
No after-effects either time.
Want to get Pfizer again.
I would prefer a medical facility to a pharmacy, as I trust their accuracy more than a pharmacy. I realize that mistakes have been few & far between, but...
Anyway, I need to do it and soon.

We have become an undisciplined people.

Self-discipline is severely lacking.
People feel free to say or do whatever pleases them in the minute.
Society depends on the common agreement of the people re norms for living.
I think of todays' population and who would rise to defend our land should we be seriously threatened by others.
I am old, and without grandchildren, so won't be seriously affected by whatever comes.
But concerned for the future of world civilization, let alone American life and democracy.

Sorry, no concrete answers.

PLan it around a weekend or time you can be down a day or two if necessary.

We're not finished with Covid by any means.

Agree. Find another oncologist and get on with your life.

You will be working on the problem instead of just waiting another six weeks.
Find the best doctor available for your own peace of mind.

My daughter is a co-signer on my checking accounts; she is not a co-owner.

This is all for my convenience, in case infirmity keeps me from writing checks, or getting to bank for cash as needed.
My deceased husband set up many bills as autopay, thank goodness.
