Enoki33's JournalIt constantly amazes me that reporters like Katie Hunt are allowed to
let political hacks constantly spin what we all know are the raw facts into some sort of false equivalency that pollutes the professionalism of the media. That is exactly the objective of the dotard bootlickers, and they are allowed into millions of homes and minds without any thoughts of the consequences. That is not being objective, that is being irresponsible.
The Fascist in chief and his syndicate of criminals have miscalculated
badly. The terrorist attacks on Democrats will not gain them votes, neither will it deter well thinkers from voting. Violence is the inevitable result of the hate rhetoric spewing out of the Whitehorse and GOP rallies. They are desperate, and showing it. Sadly l fear this is an acceleration that will continue until we are free from the tentacles of dictatorship.
The horrendous cruelty involved has no place in a civilized
society, despite what the liar in chief would have the world believe. We all know the Saudi royalty is guilty of murder, and that the worst they will suffer is a slap on the wrist. Dotard and Kushner have taken moral corruption to a whole network level.
Interesting prediction, but l doubt it very much. The criminal
in charge will not resign, neither he be gracefully forced out. Especially now that he has rigged SCOTUS, which is a continuation of him using the legal system to intimidate opponents and cover his crimes. Think of the behavior of a weasel when cornered. There are dangerous waters ahead, and the ship of state is not in the best of sea worthy conditions. The good thing is there are still some really good sailors aboard, and reasons abound to give us hope as long as we continue to resist.
I may be wrong, but my gut feeling is that the primary goal, apart from the
obvious self gratification, is to lay the groundwork for his personal storm troopers. He sees it as his last resort - because the conning will eventually be inadequate - to make the ultimate power grab. He is going to reject the results of the next election in one way or another. We are dealing with a depraved criminal mind honed by years of Russian mafia influence and control. He is capable of more depravity than we can imagine. Hope it is only a upset stomach. Meanwhile I have been able to convince two more acquaintances to vote straight D.
The cheering crowd is a stark reminder of how our educational
system has failed miserably in passing on the lessons of fascism in Europe. Rick Steves’ The Story of Fascism in Europe is a valiant attempt to remedy that. Unfortunately l doubt very much that they will see it, or the diabolical playbook borrowed from the dark times in Europe. It is up to those of us that clearly understand the dangers to redouble our efforts to stamp it out before it consumes our nation.
The extreme cruelty of the poor excuse for a human was once again
on full display in the manner in which he mocked the then 15 year old child. As Chris Matthews said of the adults who laughed in response: ‘I’m sure she can still hear the laughter.’ Those people were feeding from the scum at the bottom of the already polluted pond. Fortunately they are in the minority.
There was a lady sitting in the front row to Kavenaugh's right (don't
know her relation to candidate) whose facial expressions l found extremely interesting. It ranged from concern, to sympathy, to disbelief. The thinly disguised disbelief seemed to be the dominant one. It contrasted sharply afterwards with the explosive anger of the Republicans much of which can be safely described as being directed at women. They seemed ignorant of the fact that all their mothers are women that they claim to respect.
The anger and the yelling directly at the Democrats alone
should disqualify him. He is a GOP operative masquerading as a judge.
Useful to remember that the millions lavished, loaned and used to
install tRump in politics was money stolen from the Russian and Ukrainian people. It is blood money, as one of Manafort’s daughters called it.
