I have family members who voted for tRump, and despite the overwhelming
evidence that he is devoid of any standard of decency, they continue to vehemently support him. Every conversation l have had with them, because l am a PoC, had me wondering what do they really think of me as a person? The breaking point was them referring to someone else standing by me in a family photo as “looking almost white.” Now I’m free of that burden. Made it plain l saw through the thin veneer of social hypocrisy that disguised their disgusting racism and patronizing conversations.
Make no mistake. The rallies are for a very specific purpose.
Namely plan B to defend against impeachment. How extreme that use will be remains to be seen. Plan A is using the GOP puppets to ignore his crimes.
So glad the Dems issued this report. Maybe it will help put to rest the often
misused label of partisan bickering. It was a Republican coverup. Period.
Think it was David Frum that argued after on Lawrence that in
all likelihood what actually happened was that tRump saw this on tv and and later claimed Putin personally told him that. Example of alternate reality, and propensity to lie.
Correct. Comey is an easy and justifiable flashpoint for anger, and
yes, bitterness, but he is surely not the only reason Hillary lost. Without legally questionable jerrymandering, voter suppression and Russian intervention (l believe votes were flipped in critical areas) we likely would not have the slime autocrat. We can do nothing about the actions of Comey, except to embrace his disgust of tRump for use in the fight to preserve our democratic values. November will soon be a reality, and we have no time to waste.
The damning thing is why did Cohen go to such lengths to
disguise the final destination of his trip? This guy is a fixer of illegal actions for primarily one client who now sees the NY investigation as more dangerous to him than the Mueller one.
Note: Heard Lindsay Graham advising that tRump should allow the Mueller investigation process to play out, and immediately wondered if some kind of Congressional fix has been agreed to.
Thanks for posting the link to Comeys speech of which l too was
not aware. What he did to Hillary, and ultimately the nation, was fundamentally wrong and he seems to know that now. That he acknowledges publicly the very real threat the criminal enterprise in the Whitehouse poses and is trying to make amends is what l find acceptable. I intend to support him by buying his book - we need all patriots on deck.
It seems James Comey, in his upcoming interview on ABC
this Sunday, describes tRump as a ‘Mob Boss’. By extension we therefore have a crime family at the helm. Kakistocracy is indeed a reality.
If this is true it is even more confirmation that Rump is
owned by Putin. Saw Putin’s chilling promise on Richard Engle’s special about the Kremlin sponsored assassinations that the one thing he will never forgive is betrayal. Rump must know he is caught in a vicious vice that is closing in on him, and the innate cowardice him must be slowly tearing him apart. This time he cannot win. The fall is not going to be pretty.
