While the impatience with the apparent

inaction of the DOJ is understandable, what is not is the baseless speculations that nothing is being done. Even an amateur like me knows a prosecution of this type is like an octopus with a hundred tentacles that each have their own legal and political complexities. Maybe we should all cut the DOJ some slack. We are not dealing with Barr. They are not corrupt. They will not betray our country.

It's X'Mas, so thought I'd offer this bit of

advice from Max Ehrmann who wrote Desiderata: "Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story".

Was once told by a wise old man that you

have not fully lived until life kicks you in the butt, and you are forced to look deep and hard within. Love life, and every single thing it encompasses. Learn the true value of a pure heart and clean mind. You will be amazed at your untapped strength and clarity of vision. Never give up. Always remember the power of love. I have never found him to be wrong.

The insurrection failed, but it has provided

a road map for the next one , unless the necessary protections are put in place. tRump represents Putin, as does much of the GOP. Putin has spent decades, and hundreds of millions of dollars searching for the soft underbelly of American democracy and has found it in how we finance our elections, and in the loopholes of our legal system. We are facing a geopolitical genius, propaganda specialist, and master spy with unlimited resources. Those are some of the realities of the battlefield, and as long as he has most of the GOP in his pocket we are facing terrible odds.

Agree with your Russian analogy. The

current Republican party is more interested in the money that flows from power, rather than the ideology. It's a matter of priorities. That does not preclude the real possibility of state sponsored genocidal policies.
This thread is of particular relevance to me as I'm a POC. Wish every every well thinking American wakes up before it is too late.

To put Gen. Milley's actions in perspective one

has to remember the lawlessness of the ruling family and those in the GOP that were so willing to betray their country in quest of perpetual power. That was the climate in which he had to operate. Instead of condemning the General we should be focused on preventing another dictatorship grab. How many of those in the GOP calling for resignation betrayed their sacred oath to the constitution?.

Constantly amazed by the sophistication and

innovation of so called primitive people. The more archeologists discover, the further back the timeline shifts, adding credibility to Graham Hancock's proposal that we are indeed a species with amnesia.

And Washington was only too happy to

use those racist elites in Miami as pawns. Today those pawns and their descents have allegedly become so powerful they literally dictate US Cuban foreign policy. All in the interest of a personal ambition that disregards the plight of the innocent Cuban children.

Think I disagree. Minds will be changed, and

the Republican brand will take another nosedive, only this time much more ugly and far reaching. Putting a face, a personality and a call for truth and patriotism to courageous actions will always overcome the acts of betrayal.

Difficult to see what we are primarily

responsible for. The sad thing is that many of the economic problems are relatively easy to solve in ways that benefit both
Cuba and the US. I often wonder what the world would be like without politics and religion.
